This is not the style set by Tanjavur Quartet. This is a modern addition. I appreciate creating new work. But the bad things here are 1. I think here mridangam specialist created the long korvais. 2. Over dramatization in Abhinaya. Subtlety is always the acceptable way of doing abhinaya. Here all the unnecessary elements are added. You can show one emotion in a simple gesture rather than overly doing it. This is not your mistake but your guru should teach all these things. Please watch Satyajit Ray documentary on "T. BALASARASWATI" video in RUclips. You will know what is abhinaya and musicality involved in it. 3. The new trend in Bharatanatyam nowadays is opening of eyes more than necessary and smiling unnecessarily when dancer doesn't know what expression to give. In earlier days all traditional gurus like Meenakshi Sundaram Pillai, Subbaraya Pillai and even Ramaiah Pillai used to say "Don't open your eyes too much amma...It is not necessary". 4. Sanjana, please practice your adavus thoroughly. Anyone with Bharatanatyam knowledge can clearly say you need to get that sharpness in doing adavus. Still polish is needed in that aspect. 5. Please dance in proper aramandi. 6. Don't try to be part of this Rat race of dancing new works. Do traditional pieces...by constantly doing traditional items you will get mastery. After that within the framework of Natya Shastra you can explore. 7. Do more reading on abhinayam and try to understand. This is all my feedback ....not to criticize you. Just wanted to Correct because we are losing what is correct in the field of Bharatanatyam instead just catching up with the trend and seeking more acceptance.

Good expressions and mudras but the only thing that needs work is the nritta. The foot movements need to be stronger and most importantly the aramandi needs to improve. If you can work these i think you will become a fine dancer in the near future. All the best
