Colten Bethel
Добавлен 24 дек 2012
My Name is Colten Bethel, I started this channel riding bikes when I was 17. I originally wanted to blow up and become a famous RUclipsr like Casey Neistat but I quickly realized you have to be dedicated to uploading videos on a regular basis. I am now 24 and enjoy filming and making videos of whatever hobby I am currently pursuing at that given moment. I make these videos so one day I can come back and remember the fun times I had with my friends and family!

Did you have to vent the AC unit?
Wow what a renovation! Me and my wife are looking into a small viking pop up and you guys gave us so many cool ideas! Best of luck and happy adventures!
Enjoyed the video...but get some life jackets!!
What colors did you use for the inside, outside and body?
Dont you need a UV protection layer?
I did not use one and the paint on the canvas is still in great condition.
Is it possible to film the UC-97 U-BOAT in lake Michigan...all I can find is some cheesy crappy photos of one of the most epic wrecks in the great lakes!
That is really interesting. I haven’t talked with very many people before that know about UC-97. From what I can read its location is not known publicly. Have you ever seen its location or depth before?
What did you do about the wires?
All the doors have quick disconnect plugs, so we just unplugged them
@@ColtenBethel shoot I may have to look more into mine, mine might be different cause it’s a 2010 though. Anyways I loved the video and your edited style, I’m surprised it didn’t get more views
Can you show us bimini glue on pads ? And also where does front hooks hook to from bimini? Did u had to glue new pads for front hooks? Also can you fold bimini backwards as you fish for example? And what mounts for rods does this boat has? I glue on scottys pads but they tend to be large, yours seem to be smaller, can you show us brand or a closer look of your glue on pads pls thanks
❤congrats 🎊
Thank you very much I really appreciate that!
“I just want to thank the LORD” got you three subscribers ❤😂

Nice job!!! Did you mix a little bit of water in the paint ?
Thank you! I did not mix water with the paint. I wouldn’t recommend that.
@@ColtenBethel perfect thank you for your answer!😁 i will start tomorrow!
@@ColtenBethel and do you think it will be good with the paint roller?
@@georgezogheib473 no problem at all! I think a brush is best because it actually pushes it into the canvas. It does take a little longe though.
@@ColtenBethel perfectt thank you😁 i did 1 place and it took alot of paint! Hehe tomorrow i will go buy more paint and continue💪🏼
BIG BALLZ Louisiana Cajuns
Living the dream, boat without the trailer is a win
How did the paint hold up in the canvas?
Great question! So far it has held up great. Better than I actually expected. Feel free to check out my update video I made about a year ago
Hi,Any updates on boat.I am trying to decide BRIS or Aleko
I have an update video I need to put out on it but the boat is still in great condition. I have not taken it out this year. The only problem I have had with it is I hit some pretty big waves and slightly bent one of my Metal floor panels. I think I can fix it but that would be the only negative I have so far I would not go any larger than the 12 foot as the 16 foot version is a little bit too flexible in my opinion
@@ColtenBethel Thank you for your answer Do you know where I can get the hardware to mount bimini top.I've searched everywhere and can't find, only one I can find is metal
@@Andron-007 they are hard to find but they are called “inflatable boat deck hinge. $4 on Amazon Oceansouth Inflatable Boat Deck Hinge a.co/d/etjAaGf
Did you seal the canvas after painting it? Is it still water resistant?
What graphics kit on the dizzer?
I’m not too sure. That was a buddies bike that he’s sold since then.
@ColtenBethel Damn, I have the same blue rimmed white one too, his kit looked nice. Good video mate!
@@dqc.sausages yeah sorry man I wish I could help. Thank you bro!
Did this to my 2002 f250 7.3 turbo diesel but didn't stop there I also cut a nice hole in the roof😂
Yeah you went one step further brother😂
People's use to say that inflatable boats and fishing hooks don't go together.
Great job, especially the paint. Now I am inspired to get my 92 Jayco done.
Thank you very much I really appreciate that!
You all did a great job. I have a pop up that I’m redoing also. Great idea for the painting the canvas.
Almost unrecognizable from the boat she was..wow.
Did y’all use the same acrylic paint on the inside of the camper?
You are correct. We did.
Bro i cant believe you still aswering comments. Ill buy the new duke 390 2024 in one week and im realy excited to pop some wheelies on it. Ive seen you pop wheelies on 3rd gear at 30. Could you give me some advice for it?
Haha just tryna help people out. That’s awesome you’re getting a new bike! My advice would be start out in 1st and get the feel of the bike while going slower. The Duke is a super snappy bike so you don’t wanna have a mistake while doing 50 in third that sucks lol I always clutch up all my wheelies. So rev her just a bit and then dump the clutch and lean back a hair. Always always always keep your right foot on the brake. Do not take your foot of to try and balance yourself to ride it longer. If the wheelie isn’t working out just tap that brake and put it down. Good luck man!
@@ColtenBethel brother i have a question for you. Why did you choose the duke 390 instead of some higher cc bike? Does it have some advantages over high cc bikes or was it a matter of taste?
I got a free 2007 fleetwood williamsburg. Very large. A/c works like new. Cant wait to paint it
Nice! Can’t beat free!
@ColtenBethel right! Somome didn't want to haul it or be bothered to post of for sale so it was just given away. Lol only issue is small water spots on ceiling and a few small holes in plastic window areas.
The painted canvas needs a UV spray. The paint covered what uv protection the canvas had
Amd no oyu didn’t go that fast woth that baby on there 😂😂😂 I’m the moms arms but cool I have the 16 ft heavy duty Saturn sd488 do a video on how those brackets go on the side of the floor please that is my only problem tho 😂 there is 6 3 on each side of the aluminum floor they don’t snap on they just hook l a little and slide I view till you blow all the tubes up to the psi that part I do not know amd haven’t seen any videos on that up close to put the brackets thick end goes on the bottom I believe
So did you get any negative comments about not wearing lifejackets?
Well done buddy, Can you share details of the lifting system? Please
Thank you very much! I’m not sure I understand your question. Would you phrase it differently
Are you referring to the external lift system? More manual labor to lift, but not as heavy and no cranking 40 times to get it popped up. They are more rare and seem to be gone from Pop ups made after the 1980's. We had an 88 Palomino Pony with that system.
best boats are the glued hypalon
Great video considering your short bottom times. Just a picky narration note. We are in the 20s. I believe cars from the1920s is more accurate. Keep up exploring.
Hey thank you very much! I also appreciate the advice. I will be making a few more videos this year on diving the wrecks of the Great Lakes so I will keep that in mind!
You really let Easton show you up in your own video… that’s craaaazy
Nice boat, awesome catch! Best wishes for you & your beautiful family.
Nice redfish man
Thank you for the update, I really want to paint the canvas. Great job!
Thank you very much! If you have any questions let me know!
GOBBLESS
Come on that’s cheating try doing it with out air tanks ;)
I respect that lol not a chance I’m getting any of the big ones at 150 without a tank though.
@@ColtenBethel never know if you never try pluss that’s the challenge trying to bring them up by diving down and up making fish curious! Cheers mate
That sand plays havoc on wheel bearings.
It truly does
I had a 94 XR650L and rode everywhere any of my friends went. Sand hills, washes, goat trails, everywhere. Even rode some switchbacks that knocked the hell outa most my buddies.. Good times..
They are seriously good bikes. That’s why they haven’t changed them in years
Chris Carpenter Jersey 🔥
What if you're in the middle of the ocean and a shark bites that boat? That shark is gonna bite you next after it sinks
do you use any type of sealer on top of the paint on the canvas?
No just the paint shown!
Dude's pretty broken about his rod not about the Cobia "Cold Beer" or the spot 😅
What type of paint did you use on the interior canvas? Is it the same as the exterior.
You are correct. We used the same on inside and out
@@ColtenBethel thanks so much I appreciate that
