Theres a certain irony re the Corvette Gran Sport. Currently licensed officially by GM. originally banned by ZgM produced by a black program run bt Duntov using diverted funds. Gm tried to destroy the few produced but failed.

When our shop restored the body for 001 back in 1979, we discovered the car is close to a 9/10 scale version. There was no internet and no books available so the research was painstaking with constant comparisons with stock Vettes. Funny, you keep saying Avon tyres and you can clearly see ….YEAR on it. Originals would have had Firestones or Goodyears

I am very impressed with the execution of the Grand Sport by Superformance. I have a question about the engine. If I wanted to equip this car with an LS7, could you accommodate a dry sump oil system? Any preference from Superformance on dry sump or wet sump?

Makes me wonder why if they have been breaking trans axles they didn’t fix it long ago ? Or why they couldn’t be rebuilt at your local transmission shop there’s lots of great one ..

While this was cool it would have been nice to get some more details on each and see in the engine compartments and the different components and looks of each engine & suspension systems etc ..thks

I hope the GT40 Mark II is not some limited edition garbage bull crap. I get so sick of companies only making 10 of this or only making 20 of that. It pisses me off when companies do that. And if they sell the mark 2 GT40 I would want a Shelby 427 FB big block with the Shelby valve covers and like a bunch of Shelby emblems all over it and I don't know if they can title it as a Shelby. But that's kind of what I would want. Like more closer to the original and preferably a Shelby if possible. If possible I would love to have it like titled as a Shelby GT 40 listed in the Shelby book of registry and the GT40 book of registry and then have like certificates of authenticity as a continuation of the original Vin numbers. Like an actual authentic Shelby GT40

Love the wagon! It's so strait and clean. I had a Cobra Torino that my parents bought new. Unfortunately it got driven into the ground by the early '80's.

I have a Superformance GT 40, a 2005 Ford Gt and a 2021 new Ford GT This is a strong statement on how good a design the GT 40 was as the following cars were based on the original car, looking similar to the GT 40, in other words gorgeous looking

Normally when you go to shows you are lucky to see 1 or 2 GT40s. It was really cool to see that many GT40s in one place.

All time favourite the GT40! All the original MK1 and 11's were right hand drive and built in the UK. These licenced continuations are built in South Africa, with modifications ie left hand drive etc...

If it had the proper 15 inch rims and Goodyear white letter racing tires, it would be BADASS. However, the fad 20 inch clown shoe rims and rubber band tires are what got put on and ruined it. 🙆👎
