BLOOPERS from our honeymoon weekend on Minnesota's North Shore
Fun fact I was just there today. It looks great in the winter. You should go
Theodore Roosevelt Park is OK but please check out the western parks....Glacier, Olympic, Crater Lake, Lassen, Yosemite, Death Valley, Joshua Tree, Grand Canyon, etc. Those are awesome.
I flew into Phoenix from the UK in 2002. I had planned a route thru Apache trail and camped (tent) at Tortilla Flat overnight. Half was tarmac, and the remainder was dirt. What an awesome journey this was driving over the bridge at Roosevelt Lake, eventually up to Payson ( a much quieter town too in those days). The only thing that irritated me in this video was this incessant music, too much, it wasn't necessary.
Hello, "Rugged Mile"! I found it very interesting! Thank you for the beautiful video! I was very moved! I look forward to your next work! Have a nice day!
A beautiful road and splendid views on the trails 👍
Thanks! It’s one of my favorite roads in the US!
Thanks for building it 🥰
We just came back from a visit to Tahquamenon Falls and Whitefish Point. It's a beautiful place!
I remember this driver very well. I was a teenager in the back seat. As we started, Daddy told me and Mama, "No outbursts, gasping etc. If you need to put your hand over your mouth." Mama asked "How long is this road ?" as she looked down. Daddy said "25 miles". Mama put her hand over her mouth. lol. We were on the outside lane.
bullshit music

Hello "Rugged Mile"! Thank you for showing us such a great video! I feel so happy! I'm looking forward to your next work! Have a nice day!
All you did was show water, ships and locks. Exploring the area you did not do.
Thanks
Some guard rails would be good.
Here we go! Gotta do this one!!
It got its name because at the time it was built it cost 1 million dollars per mile to build it.
@ 9:50 because of that water those trees grow out of solid rock.
Looks like a nice place to explore. Thank you for sharing 😊
I know all about this place because of the concerts. I had no idea it was such a cool spot to hike. I should have expected it, since it is Colorado. Great video! Glad to see you are still exploring.
To most it's Queen Neferterria But to you, Princess Lavengra
LOVE ST IGNACE this is where my husband and i spent the last 25yrs vacationing
I prefer Hallandale beach Florida beautiful city good beaches and restaurants and growing businesses and communities, and good nightlife.☀️
Early May of 1981, me and the wife spent 3 nights of 10 camping there. The park had just opened for the season and we had the whole place to ourselves! I don't think there was a single other party. Days were chilly and nights were COLD! Perfect for a newlywed couple with a new queen air mattress and two Montomery Ward sleeping bags zipped together ;^D My 18 year old beauty had never been camping before but she's always been a trooper. We took about $200 of our wedding money and bought the bags, mattress, a $50 Sears pup tent, Coleman stove, cooler and lantern. We were good to go! Preceded decades of camping with our 3 future kids. Still pulling the wool over her eyes after 43 years as to how much I "married up". As a child, me and my siblings called Tahquamenon the "root beer falls"!
Thank you for sharing your story! We really enjoyed the area!
We camp at Lynn Ann's campground. And walk that trail for 30 years. Love that trail
❤❤❤❤
What a fantastic place to explore! The landscapes are breathtakingly beautiful and the waterfalls are simply amazing 😊👍

Thank you for posting this. It brought back amazing memories for me since I grew up in the neighborhood and spent many an hour as a child/teenager climbing all over Red Butte.

A nice summit, and drive. Thank you for sharing. Hope you will have a great week, and a fantastic day. Take care 🙂
Great video. Custer State Park is a magical place. We were stationed at Ellsworth AFB in the early 70s. Did not want to leave and wish we hadn’t.
I have been to this park and have seen eight or nine videos on it. This is the best video I have seen on TR National Park.
What a wonderful hotel!! the scenery around is very beautiful, I can imagine myself spending a vacation there 😊👍
Awesome
Quite an iconic structure nestled in such a great location! Very cool! Bruce and Otis
Thanks for watching Bruce! Lots of history in this place!
I have heard about this place. The other half of the Shining inspiration hotel is Mohonk Mountain house, near me. I go every fall. Once day I will make a video of it. When you walked into the open room i chuckled. It would have been even cooler if it were room 217. Or 237.
I have never heard of the Mohonk Mountain house. You definitely should do a video. We actually weren’t supposed to be walking around the halls by the rooms but we didn’t know the rules at the moment. Not sure where room 217 was but would like to go back and see it.
@@RuggedMile That is the room in the Shining where the real bad stuff goes down. Its 217 in the book and 237 in the movie. Google the mohonk mountain house and you can see it. Its amazing.
