DIY Paint Spray Can Shaker Machine
Просмотров 848Год назад
In my work I use a lot of tins of aerosol spray paint cans. So I have made a simple machine to shake them for me. Its made from an old broken Reciprocating saw and works really well. The trigger switch on the saw and the original battery were faulty. So it was good to upcycle it to something new. Link to 3d print STL file for can holder, www.thingiverse.com/thing:6345058

Even if its $ you cant expect much from a brand NEW tractor or car to be any good for 2k...
Fantastic work, amazing that you were able to find loose parts to recomplete your engine. What will be its destination? Im wondering if it would fit in a series landrover - that would probably be a fairly unique conversion.
Thats a neat little set up, i really like the "locking hub".
Hello,,im in Ireland and love the videoa and also have recently acquired the same model ts3 engine that was half buried on the side of a mountain for 18 years, ive been looking for the starter motor part number you said yours is and cant find any,,do you know what perkins the starter was originally for please and i one day hope to get mine running,it turns over and internal parts are clean/rust free, diesel pump chamber was packed soild with oxidation from the aluminium casing and is now porous to diesel and siezed, but its amazingly free'd up and pumping diesel again, out of the 50 bolts undone only 3 have snapped, amazing build quality,,thanks for taking the time to vdeo the process of gettin yours running and enjoy the amazing sound they make,,hope to see it powering a veichle for you in the future...
What ccm and hp please

Oh Haile! the Era of the Dragon!
Thank you for sharing and congratulations on a great resto. Hell of a job. I've had a 1959 model for a number years and just about completed attaching a 5 x 4 inch water pump to run it under load up to 60Kw No diesel likes to be run unloaded. You will find they start, what looks like oil spitting out of the exhaust. It is actually unburnt fuel and carbon. Because the Cyl pressure are not high enough to allow the rings to seal properly. I have had this happen on a 14.8Lt Cat and a 2 Cly CD Lister. After attaching a load source they now run as clean as a whistle. The Lister has 390 psi on run position and 500psi on start. Thank again.
Thank you very much for this information. I am in NSW and have just bought exactly the same tractor off facebook marketplace. It was a local sale and I really only wanted the rotary hoe and twin mould board which came with it. It only had 20 hours on it and starts easily and runs very well (if a bit noisy). I have a couple of Kubota 4wd, but there is something about this beast, it is just a total blast to operate. I love it. I have no information on it other than it has hardly been used and is 25kw single cylinder 4wd. Any information you can provide would be very appreciated (such as spare parts availability, service tips or copies of manuals etc) Happy to send pictures if you like. regards chris
Hi Chris, Thanks for watching, All parts are easily available from AliExpress in China and are very cheap. Your engine will have a number of the side like 1110 or 1115etc and search this number and "diesel engine" in AliExpress to see what parts they have . Mine has now done 127hrs and has been great with no major problems. Just remember to keep the water reservoir full and dont overrev. Yes they are very noisy and shaky but fun. I dont have any manuals sorry, but on RUclips lots of vids on fixing engines just search "Chinese diesel" or "ZS1115" and you will find them. The rear axle/trans also seems very strong and there are vids on fixing those on YT as well. The engines are very popular in small trucks in Vietnam. Search "Vietnam small truck" I initially thought the drive belts would be a problem but after 127hrs they are still like new. Clutch kits also available AliExpress. My only caution would be, Watch out for all the moving parts especially around the kids. These are very powerful for a small tractor. I have never stalled mine it just digs itself into the ground. Great fun! All the best with it.
@@machineryrescue thank you so much for the help. I will keep in contact best wishes and regards chris W

Wow this is absolutely a hard-core project, but I see a great progress so far. Cheers and looking forward to see the next video.
Thanks for watching.
From up and over. People are clamoring for small trucks here in the USA. They can now be imported, providing they are 25 yrs. old. Local authorities however ban them from roadways. (They are actually safer then WWII Jeeps, which can be used on the roads). This limits their use to within private communities, military bases, estates. Keep up the good work. Narragansett Bay
Thanks for watching.
I owned one of these in 1978. It had the aluminium box on the back with the sliding door etc. I used it for fishing and camping in Tasmania Good video 👍
Thanks, I think this one had the box on the back at one stage as it was last licensed as a van.

Cool series, sweet little truck! Gonna take a lot to get that little nugget beck to life, but gonna be a fun watch!
Great video. Amazing talking to mechanics in rural truck fleets in NZ who took liners and pistons out on the side of the road without the proper Churchill tools. I was told by a friend in the car parts division of a local dealer that a well known diesel mechanic who operated a largish business in our town had a set of Churchill tools but because he was a bit of a Gordon Ramsay and every second word began with F, I was always a little scared to approach him about them! Now dead so theyʻve probably been thrown out. Iʻve got a paper copy of the plans for the liner sent to me by Don Kitchen who started at the Humber works at Coventry on the TS3 and spent his whole life dedicated to the piston / liner design. Its possibly not widely known but Eric Coy / Don and team also did the piston / cylinder design for the Leyland L60 motor. Don said the only reason the TS3 plans survived was because the plans were originally done on the finest Indian cotton and they kept them for the cotton, not because of what was on it! :-) Hope of interest. Shame I canʻt attach files or I could post a scan.
Very interesting, thanks for sharing, all the best.
Liners out on the side of the road? Me thinks that's horse muffins. Pistons yes the same as any engine. That's if you have the piston guide sleeve for their re-fitting. Liners again no no.
Fantastic effort, especially finding all those parts for the early engine... they are super rare! Incredibly I found out about a guy in the South Island of NZ around 150miles from me who used to make trailers out of Commer trucks in the 1990s/ 2000s and scrapped the TS3 motors! :-( I donʻt think this person made them - it is too far away, but there are 4 trailers on farms around my district that were built on Commer trucks. You can always tell by the little pin extension on the front axle nut which held the hub cap on. They must have used Commers for trailers because they were cheap and tough? Another contact had a yard across a lane way from a scrap metal dealer just out of Ashburton in the South Island and he saw lots of TS3s going through the scrap yard. No one was interested in them back then! :-( We have a little in common as I grew up in the cab of a Rootes TS3 powered Commer, being the very young driverʻs mate for my father on trips carting stock around Banks Peninsula in NZ - very hilly country. In later years when I was playing in bands, I had two Commer vans for my sins (a 1960 PA and a ʻ73 PB) My brother had a ʻ64 and my father a 1971 camper so they ran in the family. Horrible to work on with the engine insie - cutting your arms on the panel edges around the motor, but easy to work on at the same time. And parts were easy to come by being Hillman car based. The guy that lead the team that designed the TS3 (Eric Coy) had a lot to do with the design of the 1390 - 1725cc ohv car motor used in the 1500 / 2500 vans. The two design offices were next door to each other on the third floor of the admin building at the Stoke Aldermoor Humber - Hillman works at Coventry before the TS3 design team moved to Maidstone after Rootes bought Tilling Stevens. That sound is embedded in my memory banks - such a glorious sound.
Thanks for watching and the information.
I have the electric version, and suddenly the bag has decided to separate from the plastic mounting.
great saw. oiler button is a great feature on these saws. you don't need to pump it because it is simply a max overide for the automatic oiler. just hold it on for max oil
i love the 3d printed pull start cover fix
The 084 got an Auto oiler, and then the button to push, your supposed to hold it, its not a pump
Thanks, I have realized that now.
nice job. my father has one exactly like this
Pl give me.your showroom address.

Thank you is big a help of the singel cylinder. I want to use for farming . In
Thanks
Have gasoline powered versions of this engine been built?
finally a video in english ! can u tell if it worth buying for a small farm ?
I remember going out with my dad when he drove a Commer TS3 truck. Although the truck, a three axle tray was always fully loaded that two stroke engine just slogged away without hesitation. So much potential in this design that was destroyed by the absolute fools at Chrysler.
Yes I agree and thanks for the visit!
What a shame this type of engine wasn’t available for use in military vehicles during WW2
Hi, have two of these, one in a truck. I am searching for the air compressor driven by a gilmer belt for the air brake system. Any info you can share on the scrap yards pls ? Hoping they may have one
It’s a Clayton’s dewandre SC6. The gilmer pulley is unique
Hi, Unfortunately the yard where I got my parts from was solely owned by an elderly gentleman who passed away a few years back and now the yard has been closed for some time and is currently being redeveloped. There is a company in NZ called Commer Co "www.commer.co.nz" they may be able to help with new/recon compressor.
@@machineryrescue thanks for responding. Many who used to work on these are leaving us. I have found a compressor from a Perkins. Most likely will be making up a pulley for it.
