Thanks! Right now, I shot photos and videos when I go on vacation. I've yet to shoot any bigger projects than that.
Was the whole video recorded on this camera, or did you switch cameras?!
I switched cameras for the talking head portion.
@@vince.g Was it filmed on 1080p 60fps or 4K 30fps?
@@TopTierSatirical some was filmed in 1080p 24p for the vlog and 4k 24p for the talking head part.
It was physically impossible for Panasonic to put IBIS in a camera body this small. For still photography, I think IBIS is overrated anyway especially if one has a steady hand. My regular travel camera has been the tiny GF10 with no IBIS. I've taken amazing photos. A long time ago I used the GF1 also with no IBIS. No issues at all. Perhaps the only times when IBIS would quite possibly make a difference are when doing handheld night shots or using telephoto lenses. But I've used my G7 with no IBIS on safari with my 100-300 and 100-400 (both with OIS) and again with no issues.

do you find this lens to be a better street/casual photography fit or is the 23mm or 27mm better on the crop sensor?
the 35 is pretty tight on the crop sensor for street photography. I don't shoot as much street much days but if I did, I whole heartedly beleive that I would own the 23mm.

it's actually a case for the datacolor monitor calibrator.
The 14 & 15mm on there just simply are the best.
Pana leaving out Panorama mode is a bad decision. A good cell phone camera is more useful
I have x-t30ii. And I have been using fujifilm camera for a long time. Almost 10 year… x-a1, x-e1, x-t1, x-t2, x-t3, x-t5, x-t20, x-t30… even gfx 50r. I always having a problem. Fujifilm’s color is wonderful. but Image is not sharp. According to korean community, we call ‘watercolor picture’ It means ‘fuji makes great color, but crush a detail‘ It doesn't get any better by any means. Some people said ‘fuji take a memory, not blue print. It is what it is’ what do you think ? By the way my english is bad, sorry 😢
The lack of ibis put me off. It's a must have fir me.
In video, it suffers a bit but for photos, it's not a problem at all.

Fx30 or s5ii?
Good question! I've never shot on a S5II so can't speak on it. If you want a hybrid that can shoot both photo and video then definitely S5II and if you want a straight video camera that shoots photos, then FX-30.
What is the use to precise "shot on fx30" ? Do you think it adds to the value of your film ? Very well shot by the way

what do you think compare to the gx9 ?
GX9 is a fantastic camera, while they offer the same sensor there's quite a bit of differences between the two. GX9 has in body stabilization while the g100 does NOT. The rangefinder body style is highly sought after by most people. The GX9 however does not have a flip out screen like the g100. Just depends on your needs and your wants in a camera. Great question! I've some a couple of night photos and it holds up ok. If you're doing night photography or astrophotography, you may want to look at other cameras with bigger sensors. Thanks for watching!

I’m debating on purchasing this camera, but why do I see so many bad reviews? Is it because it’s considered a vlogging camera?
Yeah, I think you're right. They considered this camera to be a vlogging camera but they skipped out on some pretty vlogging essential features. If you understand it's limitations, it can be a really good buy from the used market.

FYI, the telephoto lens in the kit edition can work decently as a macro lens, at long focal length. What you can do is attach a 10x diopter to that, and get quite good macro. I opted instead for a G95; what are your thoughts about G95?

How does it look when shooting against the sun or other light source?

The image quality of the photos is outstanding, I think the 20megapixel M43 sensor is more than enough to capture sharp images. I have no problem with it. Thanks for the question and thanks for watching!

@@BagusWibisono I personally really like the body of the GX9 but you buy the G100 at a really great price used as well. The sensor between the three should be about the same, I do know that the GX9 and the G9 both has image stabilization but the G100 does not. If that's something super important to you, than I would choose either of those. Which ever one you choose, you'll definitely be gaining a fantastic camera.
I’ve got this camera and tried so many times but every time i took a picture the results were always not sharp and always blurry. I don’t know that Im not put the good setting or just the camera not as good as they told me 😢
g100 has surprisingly taken over most of my EDC needs, more than my g9, s5iix, fuji cams, nikon z cams, or even my olympus camera. it is just simply one of the most cnvenient cameras to carry around. i would also highly recommend testing out the 12-60 leica lens on it sometime, it is absolutely my fav lens of all time and can be had for about half the msrp on the used market these days. :100: nice shots and happy shooting. very underrated camera.

Why didnt you get the G95 instead? Weatherproofing, no record limit, 5 axis IBIS, and microphone + headphones jacks. For the exact same price.
I actually got this on the used market for $300, the G95 is a relatively large camera compared to the G100. I was looking at this camera only for the 20mp sensor, ibis, and all other video features are of little value to me.
they are not even the same price, they both regularly go on sale from the manufacturer for 200-300 off, the g100 can be had brand new with kit lens for 500 human dollars, and a ton of advanced features in a tiny body compared to the g95.

I wonder why is the most hated vlogging camera.
because vloggers prefer to have a camera that they don't have to think about to record themselves, and this is not a good camera for that. your phone is better for that than this camera for most people. but this camera is better in nearly every other way versus a phone or another small compact camera.
I've got one and like it very much, but the 12-32mm OIS lens is quite special - a brilliant feat of lens design. To be fast focussing, sharp, stabilised and that size is incredible.

I like the g100, what do you think compared to the g85? does the g100 a better "run and gun video" camera?
Thanks for watching! If you're doing a lot of "running and gunning" the g85 might be a better camera, only because it has the in-body image stabilization. Hope this helps!

@@bagus8576 Autofocus would be about the same, the G100 is a newer camera over the g85 so the tech may be a tad better but not by much.
