Hello Friend, Nice to hear from you!! Creating a status in the selection list alone won't work as you expect. To make it function properly, you need to use the Theme (Existing Piping). Navigate to Isometric DWG Settings > Themes > Override. Choose Existing Piping and select your status name. When you run isometric, it will appear, but it will be in the Existing layer. Now, create a new layer in the isometric template file (iso.dwt) and specify that layer name in LayerScheme (All). Open the IsoConfig.xml file. Go to Themes > Themes (Existing Piping) > Symbols > LayerSchemes > LayerScheme (All). This will resolve your issue. Let me know if you need further assistance. ​@@akashrane2404 To begin, open the Project Setup and navigate to Isometric DWG Settings > Title Block and Display. Then, click on the Setup Title Block button. When the Iso.dwt file opens, select Title Block Attributes. This will launch the Block Editor for Iso.dwt. You can add your notes in the Title Block, and once you're done, remember to save your changes and exit the Project Setup. Hope this helps!!

@@gauravsonwane9509 Default Cable Trays aren't available in Plant 3D. You'll need to create one using the shapes as demonstrated in the video.

@@gauravsonwane9509 For versions from 2021 and below, the path is C:\AutoCAD Plant 3D <your version> Content\CPak Common. For 2022 and later, you can find it at C:\Program Files\Autodesk\AutoCAD 2022\PLNT3D\ContentScripts (unzipped). You won't find any readymade cable trays in Plant 3D. You'll need to create one yourself, just like it's demonstrated in the video.

Simply change the names of the Sch 10s to 40s, then execute the PLANTSPECUPDATECHECK command in the drawing file to update it. If everything was done properly before, it will automatically convert all SCH 10s to 40s.

Based on what I know, the answer is no. We have established the pipes under the fittings class, and there isn't an option for dynamic length. However, you can enter "Custom" in the component designation and adjust the length and other parameters directly in the drawing, as demonstrated in the video.

@acadp3dsolutions Ok. I managed to change the length by changing custom property. But in the BOM the "QTY" is shown by the amount of trays I have, it doesn't count the length of tray. Can I change this? I Need the length of tray in my report, for buiyng the tray, not the amount of pieces.

@@Lucaslfm1 Regrettably, we can't incorporate dynamic lengths for fittings class since they are calculated based on quantities. Additionally, dimension parameters aren't visible in the data manager. I did some research and attempted to create this in the Pipe class prior to making this video, but it didn't function as I had hoped.

ok, thanks anyway. I guess the only way out of this would be to make the square pipe based on python script. There are also a few plugins for purchase on Autodesk store.

@@KarthiK-dc5xh It looks like you don't have the necessary permissions to overwrite that file. Try copying it to your desktop, making your changes there, and then replacing the original file. Don't forget to create a backup!

@@KarthiK-dc5xh The Rectangle Flange parametric isn't part of the content varmain. You'll need to create it using a custom AutoCAD block or by utilizing Python.

If you're using Plant 3D 2024 or any version it's readily available in every Plant 3D installation folder, you can locate the Python script at this path: C:\Program Files\Autodesk\AutoCAD 2024\PLNT3D\ContentScripts\metadata\varmain. I haven't created any catalogs, but I did create a test component to demonstrate, how you can quickly make your own catalog in just a few minutes.

Do you mean to say flexible hose pipe? Create a new component in catalog using pulled pipe bend and also create a new symbol in IsoSymbolStyles.dwg. Use SKEY of PIPE or create a new symbol and map it.

Creating new class definitions in Plant 3D is not possible through project setup as of now. But I believe you can do it through editing database in the backend. It's a bit risky. I will research on it and come up with a dedicated video.

Looks like hardcoded. I checked it and found it is possible, but as it is connected with specs. It is risky and can cause other issues.

@@acadp3dsolutions As far as I know equipment is not linked to pid at all. Thus no validation on pid/3d equipment wise, only piping.

Duplicate the weld neck nozzle as shown in the video. Use same values for L1, L2 and B1, B2 in dimensions. Hope this helps.
