Hey search for trim tool kit
Are you anywhere near Dallas? i would appreciate it if you did this for me.
Are all teh screws t20?
hard to believ3 that Bmw still has the same issues with the cheap quality plastic/ rubber door handles, furring summer they melt!!!
Что с дверной ручкой? Фреди Крюгер был первым владельцем?!
Need more context on that third rivet! Where is it?
How did you remove the window control element?????
I used a small flat head screwdriver to lift the clamps.
@@tfen247 got it thanks
He Men, good job, greeting from Germany
thanks for the video, i bought my spring off ebay and it wasnt a bmw original, i had problems at the rear end i.e. the ball and socket end. the socket end of the spring was slightly different to the original in that it had a small piece of spring steel on one side presumably to make it more secure and stop it popping off when in use. i found it impossible to push the spring onto the ball in situ and was going to give up but noticed that the ball was actually threaded into the bodywork of the car and was quite easy to remove. i used pipe pliers to then clamp the spring socket end and the ball together and it popped in ok, i used grease on the ball and socket and put a spare nut on the thread of the ball to protect the thread.(it would have been much easier with a vice but i dont have one at the minute) , it was then quite easy to install the spring and screw the ball end back into the body and its working fine, cheers derek
Good job man!
How long did it take
Thank you it was very useful. Greetings from Spain
Glad it was helpful.
It was good enough to warn me I must not do it myself. Will take the car a professional. Lol
Thanks bro. Will be changing mine.
Thank you sir for taking the time to film the process. Now its my time to complete the same job :) Thanks again!
I'm about to do this now. My pull handles are jacked up. Thank you for the video.
Do you have to unplug the battery before doing this?
No I didn't unplug the battery I left the car off.
@@tfen247 Thank you for the info 👍
how long did this take you?
A hour each door.
Good job men 🔥
Thank you ✌️
Good job bro
Thanks!
good video bro. Just done mine. Works a treat. Only issue I had was the lower end of the spring I couldn't get it onto the round ball like connector without giving it a couple of wacks with a hammer 👍🥂 Works a treat!
Thanks appreciate it.
Good job 👏
Thanks appreciate it.
I have the same problem with my trunk. Thanks for the video. Did you only replace the right side passenger spring or both sides ?
Thanks I replaced the passenger side only.
@@tfen247 I bought OEMs and they gave me 2. Any video on replacing the other side?
@@NGCH77 hey it should be similar. You should see similar clips for the left. I found a video showing how the left side should look ruclips.net/video/vxhXhtCMzvg/видео.html
@@NGCH77 left and right springs looks the same or not bro? i read somewhere. they said is abit diff. really?
@@mykeeekeee I've just done mine. Only done right springs. Works fine. Left spring is lighter in weight. Took me a while to figure that out!
Good job on the video boss
Thanks appreciate it!
