First time seeing my son Julian preform with his team.
Awesome 👍. It was a long drill. It ain't easy.
Gorgeous.
There was head movement going to the shoulder
Ew
why?
Does anybody have any suggestions on leadership in a drill team?? I need some advice
Nobody didn't notice what happened at 5:48
he broke hella bearing yeah I saw
What did the team say after the commander says "1...2....3....4....."
K00lking144 fly, fight, win
Fly, Fight, Win, Hooah. It's the Air Force motto.
And it's not 1,2,3,4,he's saying hut,2,3,4. It's how the air force calls cadence
Called a MSgt a sir, you allowed to do that?
When reporting in/out at a drill meet, all judges are sir/ma'am.
@@Field213 it honestly really depends I know the nighthawks for ex say sir but for inspection and regulation say the rank of the judge
You can do rank or sir/ma'am.
It depends on the head judge's request to be called by rank or by sir/ma'am
great performance would like to get in touch with you and see if i can receive a copy of it for my rotc program
Shaun Muller is a ginger
my friend isn't a silver eagle but he's watching them preform today. he loves drill and he says they're really good.
The whole routine was taken from Jay's '92-'93 Silver Eagles who originated it and won state. The "Death Square" sequence was cut out, which put the original Eagles over the top. These unoriginal copycats were too scared to include it or just not good enough.
+Mario Gonzalez As the JJHS coach for a decade and architect of this routine, alongside key input from the outstanding cadets, I can tell you that you are sorely mistaken. The John Jay Silver Eagles staples that remain from the old days constitute only 3 minutes of the current routine. The remaining 6 minutes were developed over many years of performance. We have a very detailed library of past routines and work to retain a connection to the past while highlighting the present. Similarly, many of the old staples were constructed prior to the 90s and some were late 00s inserts. While we respect and value all of our past members (which I presume you are), I find it very saddening that you would belittle your fellow brothers. These cadets have moved well past the unofficial state championships and have gone on to win 9 consecutive official air force national titles, and 3 official all service national titles. Regardless of the misunderstanding, we would love any old footage you have and welcome you to join our alumni group! The JJHS cadets have worked very hard to maintain and expand the excellence that so many before them established and will always respect the SE brotherhood. -Be Well
+Lario88Medel I didn't intend to ruffle your feathers, so to speak. If you really think only 3 minutes was taken, then we'll just agree to disagree. I mean no disrespect toward the accomplishments and can appreciate the difficulty of the task. Nothing needs to be defended. But that being said, I know a routine when I see it. So congrats and be well yourself.
No problem here bud, its all about the cadets! I hope you continue to support them as an alumni. With references from the originator, past, and current instructors of the team MSgt. Killian (God Rest His Soul), MSgt. Gonzales, SMSgt. Ruiz, and MSgt. Madden, we are very confident on our end. Agree to disagree but not doubt we are happy that you were able to be a part of the Jay legacy!
I WISH OUR SCHOOL TEAM IN ROTC RAATI COMING THIS FEBRUARY 2016 WILL BE LIKE THIS SOOO BEAUTIFUL
Im going to rape my rewind button then still your drill HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA it was sooooooo beautiful
i AM ALL THE WAY FROM ARIZONA AND YOU GUYS ARE DOING EXCELLENT BUT YOU SHOULD WORK ON NOT DROPPING IT
U guys got like the same routine ever year. Just like tweak a few parts in ur sequences. Our team comes up with a whole new sequence each year. Pretty hard work
+Darryn Punzalan if it aint broke dont fix it; their routine wins so why change it?
+bmx687 Not to be too plain.
+bmx687 got a point. just saying that its pretty cool how u can still win with the same routine.
Glad to see my boys still going strong, good job on the 1st place win at Daytona!
Commander of the '06 team and I must say... This routine is legit man. Sucks yall had 2 drops though. What did you place?
