Man, I relate to this a bit. I have entomophobia (the fear of bugs) and arachnophobia (fear of spiders) The amount of people that don’t understand the difference between a FEAR and a PHOBIA is crazy. Having a fear of bugs and spiders is kind of just like “Oh god I hate these” but a person with a phobia of bugs and spiders, I literally lose my shit. I cry until the bug is out of my sight, and if it touches me? I’ve literally cut off a part of my skin because a spider was crawling on me. I’ve gotten help for it, but I still can’t handle the creepy crawlers very well. On the more Haikyuu side of things, I’m glad Sakusa isn’t depicted as an asshole. He’s not an asshole, he’s just misunderstood. I’m happy to find a story that makes him nicer to Atsumu than an annoying, abusive jerk.
