    I also use a black neoprene belly band which I wear on top of a form-fitting shirt and then employ a cover garment. It works perfectly and is closer to my body than any holster could be. I've never had a printing problem ever.

    I’m older and overweight. I don’t use a belt very often. I use suspenders. The Fanny pack is much easier for me. I used one in the 80’s for off duty carry as a police officer

    Somewhat recently reformed anti-gun guy here. I am looking to buy my first handgun ever at 43 years old. I would love to learn to shoot well and maybe compete someday. Any suggestions on how to start this journey would be appreciated! I think I have settled on the Canik Mete so I am good on gun recommendations but anything else would be great. This community seems super supportive. Thanks in advance for any help.

    I have seen several first time shooters DQ and never come back. It happens, don't let the embarrassment keep you away. Pretty much everyone DQ's at some point in their career. Whether you stage plan went south and you broke the 180 on a reload or got called for your finger in the trigger while reloading, it happens. If you fix your mistake next time, no one will hold it against you. Your first match should focus on the safety issues, not your actual shooting. Also don't worry about buying the perfect gear or firearm. You won't know what you really need or like for several matches. Other shooters will be happy to show you their gear and even firearm at the safe table. Ask questions, just not during stage walk-through. Everyone is focused on making their plan and there is only a few minutes to memorize it. Observe and ask after. Have fun.

      I'm a dude and I own one. Shot both the 365xl and the 365xl rose. The rose shoots better for sure with the slide compensator. Still a little snappy, but that's to be expected. It's a great carry piece, doesn't cost as much as the spectre comp, and comes with a gun safe.

    Don't ever ride the slide foward like the way you racked the slide. It can cause a malfunction. Let go of the slide and let the recoil spring do its job.

    The Rose version is too expensive to not trust the P365 platform over say Glock or S&W. I’d maybe trust it for a short self defense situation, but if I had to go to war with it, I wouldn’t trust it to stay functional like Glock. SIGS quality control has sucked.

    • @ghostfitness5605
      @ghostfitness5605 3 месяца назад

      It’s completely blown out of proportion. Sig has been amazing. I’m a huge Glock fan and sig fan. I’ve had more malfunctions shooting my Glocks and I shoot them less. Appreciate where we are as the technology is out of this world. Many well known respected people in the industry trust sig, hickok45, sootch, colion noir, tactical hyve, and many others. If they were so “bad” they wouldn’t carry these guns. Sig is one of the best manufacturers of firearms and known for their reliability. The p365 series is nothing short of amazing. Also sigs customer service is amazing. I broke my optic and they sent me a free one and gave me the option to upgrade to their new dot for $100 that costs $450

    I usually have mixed feelings about videos like this. The content in this video is correct and well structured. It is basically an advertisement for the training program but there is nothing really wrong with that. What rubs me, though, is that it is ostensibly aimed at first time gun buyers, but this video is filled with jargon that a first time buyer will not know. Terms like "MOA" are never explained, what is a compensator and what does it do, and how is "380" smaller than "9" if the number 380 is a larger number than the number 9? Now, someone steeped in gun lore will understand all of this, but someone new would not. It's almost like the audience for a video like this is really more for the gun guy husband looking for something for his non-gun wife, rather than a truly new first time gun buyer

    I carry a standard (tiny) P365 with a safety; the pistol can be carried with the safety off. That said, my safety stays on unless I intend to shoot. ALSO, the safety is easily removed completely if desired. This also opens up grip module options if the owner wants to change up.

    You said “Standard Co USA Axis Skim holster”. Are you sure? Or is it a Tier 1 Concealed Axis Slim? Because they are the only company that makes a holster called the Axis Slim. I have their Axis Elite and it’s the best holster I have. And I have tried literally dozens.
