Basicly uderstanding elemental, wood weak agains fire. So, use fire unit for Tulpa. In your case, see life boss bar, below there is a rage bar. Each attack will increase it, once full he gets a bonus turn AoE attack. Maybe another solution are attack the boss with the strongest units, while another is to attack the minions. GL.
