Yes. I worked with him there (he’s gone now) and we race at a local track in the same series as well.

This was my first time and my second race. Honestly didn’t even bother to look given my weight and lack of experience there.

That’s really good for your first time in those.!! We were running about the same at about a 19.2-19.5 so far with these. There’s a pretty big difference depending on session length and they definitely get faster as the session goes on with our fastest at the end of three back to back sessions.(so about 15 minutes in)

@@ElijahMullinss that lying gaslighting bastard!!!😂.. Brad was our slowest and did his best of a 19.4xx on our final session. Albeit he got sick from the kart bounce towards the end. The old karts were marginally faster with my best being a 18.9 but the time spread on those was huge being almost a full second.

@@joshmerklinyeah they said without the push to pass button they go around 35ish but with it that’s when it actually goes around 45. I would say the old karts a little better only because it’s more consistent on speed but on these things you actually have to hotlap

I was occasionally stabbing the brakes to get extra rotation or to bleed a small amount of speed after using boost but in general not really. They’ll feel a bit dead on turn on but will eventually whip if you turn sharp enough. I found myself “sawing” at the wheel at times to get the most out of them.

They’re the pull tabs on the quick releases for a HANS device. He’s using an old helmet from his days as a dirt track racer.

I’d say it makes them more fun. Between them being gutless and there being no braking zones softer tires might make them a bit boring

@@joshmerklin yeah i did them one time and id say their alr for fun but like that place is shitty to victory, victory i feel like has wider tires which just makes it more controlable
