Why not? Yoda once said, that Padme is strong in the Force- and maybee Quin Gon did teatch her how to become a ghost, when she still was allive- like Obi-Wan later. That could be a reason, why she died. She knew, that everyone Would look for the Kids and her, if she would be gone with them. So she become a ghost to be apple to help a better way...

if you watched episide 3, you saw at the ending how the medical droid told obi-wan that she has lost the will to live. i'm thinking that she lost the will to live because anakin was her life, and since he went to the dark side, he basically took her life with him.

...Padme can't be a force ghost though...so...technically...they were never reunited.

What happened is Anakin became so obsessed with the fact that padme might die. He loved her so much that he would do what ever it takes to save her even if it meant turning to the dark side. Anakin was a good person, in the end padme knew he was doing it for her and she knew there was still good in him. When vader killed sidious that was evidence there was good in him which is why he entered the good side and became a force ghost, him and padme were reunited once he died

Isn't that what Anakin did? Turn to the Dark Side to save Padme?

Actually, Palpatine was lying when he said Vader killed Padme. He said that in order to strengthen Vader's connection with the Dark Side, and besides, Padme didn't die instantly.

Well, not everything. He still had his children, Luke and Leia. Even if he didn't know they still existed until much later.

Yes, it's sad. When I was younger I used to think that it was Anakin's choking her that killed her, but my heart really ached for Padme when I realized it was because of her broken heart that killed her.

Funny, we think alike. I would think of the two of them whenever I heard this song and made up a vid in my head. It's cool to see someone else's vision. "Because of You" and "My Immortal" are a couple more Anakin inspired songs for me.

Obi-Wan is my favorite character. He always tried to do the right thing, yes he made mistakes but he tried. Thanks for such a great video, lovely song! :D
