Assalam O Alaikum :) An advice for the young Muslims here.. (I will be discussing a major problem I have seen between teenagers/young adults) As a youngster myself, I know there are many teenagers that question, "Why is everything haram in Islam?? Why is Islam so strict??" Well let me tell you, it's not strict. Everything written in the Holy Book, the Qur'an, is the truth and a source of guidance. Many many youngsters indulge in fornication, or in simple terms, Zina. It forbidden for a reason and believe me, if you are in a haram relationship, you must leave that relationship immediately because there is nothing better than who Allah has written for you as your Naseeb. How do you think that something that starts of haram can end up successful? It is clearly impermissible and a marriage through Zina would never be blessed. In addition to that, there will be a grievous punishment for all those who committed Zina, unless if they asked for forgiveness in this Dunya, and when I say forgiveness, it means SINCERE forgiveness meaning that you would not commit it ever again in your entire life. Second of all , let me tell you the root problem which causes the interest between the opposite gender. Friendship.. friendship between opposite genders as a Muslim is HARAM and I know you know it because you've heard it here and there but you neglected it. Opposite gender friendships are the basic source which can lead to Zina so you must avoid it. Please, don't ruin your akhirah for just these little things, you know that it is not worth your time to do these foolish things but you still do it so you can gain worldly pleasure? The world is only temporary and we're all sent here to fulfill our purpose. Worshipping Allah Almighty, and you should know how you are fulfilling it. The world is like an exam, a test. You do the right things, you will be rewarded for it, but if you do wrong, there will be a punishment for you(unless you seek refuge.) If you fail, you'll be a failure for eternity in the Hereafter. Make yourself useful. Jazakallah Khairun!
