Sunny day downhil ride on 1953 Jawa 250 with the engine off
This is the short flashback to the summer rides on my 1953 Jawa 250. Riding downhill through my beloved countryside with the engine off and bump starting it at the end. I gave my gearbox a little bit of a hard time.

Getting back to this motorcycle which I got some time ago. It's almost complete, let's see if I can make it runing again after 25 years of sitting in the barn and ride it. ČZ stands for "Česká zbrojovka" - Czech armory. It is former firearms manufacturer, also known for making ČZ motorcycles.

1953 Jawa 250 Perak, model 11. Routine maintenance like oil level check, ignition timing adjustment, check bore for score marks, decarbonize the piston and the head, chain tension check and adjustment. Kickstart and ticking over.

As for the ignition setting, in this type of two-stroke it should be at most 2/3 mm!
Can I ask you how tall are you? And your bikes seat height?

People underestimate how much of a better rider these basic techniques will make you. I would add static balance to that (which you could do with a modified - no foot down - stop and go, or very slow riding dubbing the rear brake even to a complete stop and modulating the clutch). Great clip.
Is it safe to regularly dismount the head? Wont it affect it in any way?

@@jakubjezik You might have to brake suddenly. Downhill trucks are obliged to use their motorbrakes to prevent overheated wheelbrakes.

and in my country all drive withouth helmet with always 2 foots in sandals on the ground and no control at all of the slow or stop ...
How the bulb is working, Is your bike fitted with a battery ?
Yes, it's 6V electric system with battery.
Hi, try put Continental TKC 80 on your bike, its much better tire then the Mitas.
