@@daBicolXPress I found out late. After I followed a guide it didn’t mention that you had to use a weaker staff and hit the boss in the back in order to get arms to fall off. I just got to chapter 5 now. I too will have to try to get this arm guard in New Game +

@@crazy-_-Beard Pretty clever of the devs to do that. Hide secrets in-game to retain players. If you play it in PC you can go back to your save. But for me, I'm too far ahead to go back. But I tell you there is a much better armor set after Chapter 5. Make sure you complete the secret level.

@@daBicolXPress honestly I was kind of disappointed It’s ok to have rate drops but even tho the game doesn’t have a map. It really needs a quest line or explanation to the players what can be achieved if I didn’t watch guides online I’d never figure put this stuff 😆

Absolutely, you just have to keep very close attention on its moves. Problems is players' emotions. When you see that, HP is on a low. We get reckless!

Only 5 heals.. Must be the animation, I dodged most of its attack. Oh and also I have the Celestial Lotus Seeds in Soaks for my Gourd, I get slow health recovery.

The serpent scale armor set was key for me to beat this MF, it grants a good amount of Hp when standing in water. This is how I beat him after like 17 tries.😅

Yes, it doesn't dodge as quick as the destined one. It main purpose is to do damage nothing else.

Funny thing is the game adapts to your movements. And you kinda have to read and counter it. Which I find it fun!

@thread_astaire felt that lag as well and I play it on PC in highest settings. Almost break my controller too. It's the animation, I believe. And the devs made sure, players can't button smash. I usually watch the characters move, practice it before jumping in the fight. As you cannot stagger this mfs.

Yeah it does have lag on PS5. Even I'm experiencing the same.

Ive heard taking it off performance mode to either of the other two options helps with this idk. Seems only to be a PS5 issue

@legendkilla2754 it helps to use medicaments such as evil repelling. Also reigniting the spark, put more on the stamina as you would need to continuously dodge with this dude.

@@daBicolXPress believe me I did!! I must have done this fight like 60 times or so. I tried a bunch of times, felt good then I purchased 10 of those tiger medicines. They are all gone. I just don’t want to use everything up as I do t have materials. It’s just I watch these videos and it looks so easy then I have the tiger in the same position and as I am about to slam him with my heavy with three dots, he jumps away and I miss or he turns to stone and vanishes. So frustrating

@@legendkilla2754 I beat him today after 100 attempts. Fairly easy. I played a distance game of dodge and light attacks dodge. Rince and repeat. Save spells for a couple when he’s below half and a couple when he’s at a quarter. Maintain distance, make him come to you, take your time.

But that's the thing you'll eventually beat him and you will love the game for it. (I'm also still stuck here but tomorrow I'll beat him😅)

@@captainalpaka1551 I actually finally beat him last night, I basically kept repeating the fight until I learned and could dodge most of his moves. Would recommend crafting Tiger Subduing Pellets to increase your damage and Evil Repelling for defence. Good luck!

I was ready to give up on the game and then after 40 minutes yesterday I managed to beat him
