It seems to take quite a few strokes to get those facets polished but it does result in a nice polish for sure. I just noticed the X-Cube was mounted perpendicular to the "X" which I think someone was trying to describe to me a while back. I have always mounted X-Cubes with the Dop on the "X" but now I will have to try it as you have it. I'm interested to see how that looks when finished. I'm a bit curious where the center of the X ends up in relation to the Girdle ?
BTW - I now have this lap and it does work nicely. It is an excellent deal. Great quality at a very reasonable price. I'll recommend it.

This is a special type of YAG (yttrium aluminum garnet) that contains cerium. It is highly fluorescent and pretty dang amazing!
