Here's a quick guide on how to get the Sudden Death Rune in Season of Discovery! I hope this helps you get the rune, it took me about an hour of attempts to learn this fight and get it. I hope you get it on your first try using this!

How did you find a match for WSG I've been trying but nothing.
WSG hasn't had any matches for me either, this was from last phase (3).

if you dont have faster run boots like me, position yourself so you can dodge purple attack kinda close to the corners already before he casts an ability. with the ghost... try to put your camera right above yourself (i still hate wow with things like this becase its so hard to see abilities like this) dont worry about your damage rotation. the damage is high enough no matter what you press and the healing from ghosts with victory rush is enough too to sustain infinite amount of time did it on medium
Rogue is slow or bad. As soon as you trinket kidney, he should have blinded you, wait for reset and you’re dead.
Yup! He should have. Rogues can win any 1v1 in SoD by baiting a trinket and resetting with blind. Unfortunate thing here is that I rended him immediately upon trinketing, so that he couldn't get a reset even with blind. Even if he had blinded, he wouldn't have been able to reset the stun DRs with sap due to the rend before blind ended. Also--don't think Blind is always off cooldown, so that's not always an option. In a perfect world it would be!

I agree wholeheartedly. This was the most fun I've had in Classic in a long time. I love this type of solo challenge that I could attempt on my own time. The reward being valuable made it even better! When I see someone with Sudden Death in the open world, I know they've accomplished something cool!

my only gripe is I was getting knocked back no matter where I stood, why have a graphic for it if it isn't accurate.
Awesome guide, brother! I did it successfully, choosing easy difficulty at level 56, and I got the rune. I STRONGLY recommend using Victory Rush. The specters technically give 8xp, so it's a 'healing phase'. And on easy, the thunderclap barely knocks you back. I would recommend eating it in the center. Good luck boys!

What addon is that at the start to swap gear sets?
It's a combination of a couple addons...The Ring addon is Opie, but I use GearQuipper to make the macros for the item sets/action bar changes. Itemrack doesn't let me set it up this way so that I can have things like intercept+zerker stance macroed on the flagellation set but not on my warbringer set.

I'm using a victory rush WA and a few others that I made for Flag/Rend/BS/CS and my swing timer, My action bars/unitframes/buffs & debuffs are all Elvui (requires quit a bit of manual customization)

Hey maybe not everyone's cup o' tea! I enjoy it quite a bit personally, but it's not the same as retail, that's for sure. Very bursty right now and more about edits, 1vX and crits for me right now.
@METABREAKERZ You are absolutely corect. Dont grt me wrong, i truly am happy people enjoy different aspects of workd of warcraft. I have played wow for 19 years, and I've just been so burned out lately and turned off to it. SOD is prob the best version but I'm still burned out haha.
