To explore the city itself you don’t need more than a couple(one night and two days is fine) but if you want to base yourself in Malaga and explore “Costa del Sol” with places like Ronda, Caminito del rey, Torcal national park, Nerja and Marbella etc you probably need a week. Check our video about free days out in Costa del sol to get an idea and from there you can choose what you want to include in your itinerary.

Its quite far but regular cheap flights will take less than an hour, 6 hours on train and 10 hours on car.

We go to Estepona very often and at night for walks or dinners but have always loved it. Do you know which areas we should avoid? We don’t know about years ago as we only discovered Estepona like 3-4 years ago and have ever since been in love. Next summer, we will be filming an in depth video on Estepona and would love to hear your concerns and add to video after validating.

@@thepakspan well the main paseo walk area by the sea was pretty bad. it was about midnight on a friday/saturday and just packed with drug dealers, theives, prostitutes, homeless people, and no cops about at all. wasnt safe.

You are right, we loved the town….. the beaches and the town itself were quiet(went there on last Wednesday) but probably better to live as no party tourists like Benalmadena?

@@thepakspan Yes, it´s so quiet and this is the good and the bad at the same time. I really like that this side of the coast of Málaga it´s very Spanish and not busy like the other part.
