this is an unfinished project for my class on fire in california it was initally intended to be much much longer but i ran out of motivation.... i still like what i came up with so far though it is about the contrast between western and mainstream views on wildfires in california in contrast to indigenous views and cultural burning.

Omgosh these are so inspiring and pretty! I have a gouche set that my Grandad gave to me. I am so in love with the paintings, never look badly on your ugly ones. I love roasting my own old work but giving the younger me praise for trying! Love to see more paintings from you. 💛😊

I'm starting gouche soon and definitely am going to paint some mushrooms. Something about them feels "easy" to approach or like you cant quite mess them up. Nice sketchbook! Are you continuing to use gouache or have you moved onto new mediums?
