Two samples from two different songs were actually used here; “Funky Worm” (1972) by the Ohio Players and “I Want You Back” (1969) by the Jackson 5.

When i first heard this theme, the first thing that i thought was that it sounds like a remix of the kriss kross song jump from back in the day, this theme is okay but i like her current AEW CEO theme way better than this one, she used this one while she was in Japan 🇯🇵.

Wondering "why the change?!'...well... Sean Ross Rapp noted in his latest Fightful podcast that it was for legal concerns over its 'Kris Kross - Jump' sampling inspirations; which itself also faced sampling legal concerns. Trying to manage that in regular USA television (compared to eastern NJPW borders) was probably gonna be a nightmare, thus we got 'CEO'. The situation is similar to how Bryan Danielson got his 'Flight of the Valkyries' inspired AEW theme, 'Born for Greatness'; where paying Europe for 'Final Countdown' (his original ROH entrance) was gonna cost Tony Khan quote, "a wrestler's salary [for each use]".
Yeah Kriss Kross Jump actually uses a few samples one of them being from The Jacksons so it could get expensive.

It's not just one song its samples from multiple songs and I am sure those artists want their cut. Jermaine Dupri produced "Jump" using these samples.
