Thank you for uploading this, I tried for ages to figure it out. What a joke… totally not intuitive. Stupid “practise” duel and not how people play the game.

This training mission is an absolute piss take, thank you so much for the guide.messaged support over this mission too

Update: The opponent will now summon Battlin' Boxer Sparrer during the duel, changing how this duel runs. It comes out at about 2:23 in the video. If it runs like mine did, Sparrer will take out Gagaga Cowboy. Gagaga Caesar is also not the card I was given at that point, but instead Gagaga Mancer. It allow me to pull Gagaga girl back out of the graveyard, make her level 4, summon another Gagaga Cowboy to decrease Sparrer's Atk to 0, detach Mancer for an extra 500 Atk, and hit Sparrer for 3k damage to the opponent, followed by Magician hitting the other one that was summoned (can't remember which) for the last 1000 LP to finish the duel.

Even following this I cannot complete this damn "tutorial" mission. Jesus christ.

This practice duel was set to have basically 2/3 win strategies as every card you draw is basically pre determined.

Must just be me not understanding what is going on but I feel like I’ve done this recently and it doesn’t work when I attack the xyz monster that he did it just removes a fusion material and I take damage so does this no longer work? Or am I dumb ??? Honestly would like to know if I’m about to give up

Not only was this shit ass on a base level, but my app was fucking up and wouldnt let me proc 75% of my effects. Stupid as hell brah Edit: came back after trying with this video, and somehow the AI did plays not shown here. I give up

for me when the monsters become 3 it changes hole thing

They have since changed this training, making the NPC summon different monsters that allow it to xyz, and summon more monsters on the second wave of attacks. Making your plays even more limited for victory.

I legitimately nearly quit playing yugioh altogether after coming back due to this frankly retarded duel. I have no earthly idea why this was deemed remotely acceptable

Even with this strategy it really comes down to luck. If they have the wrong third monster as material you basically lose. I’ve tried like 50 times and can’t beat it

This is absurd! If you kill one, they can multiple. I try to special summon to something stronger but it's difficult to survive

Need to redo this shit cause battle doesn't even start out the same anymore
