This song is taken from the movie "The Birth of The Japanese Islands", a 1970 film that was one of the last projects that Tsubaraya worked on. Toho asked if they could use this song is a Godzilla movie since it sounded from a Godzilla movie, those said yes.

I feel like this was one of the most brutal battles Godzilla had. Not only was Ghidorah there which is always a Nightmare for Big G but the arrival of the new enemy, Gigan with his laser eye and blades with the ability to fly made him an extremely annoying adversary. And the Godzilla tower the aliens were using nearly succeed in killing him. Even after it was destroyed Godzilla wasn't in the clear as Gigan attempted to finish the job while he was unconscious. After the battle the whole place was flattened. You couldn't even tell anymore that the fight originally started in a destroyed city, the city part was just gone at that point. Godzilla was covered in his own blood as well as Anguirus after he tried forcing himself past Gigan's belly buzz saw. This fight was just savage. If it wasn't so cheesy it would've been the best fight in the Showa Era.
