If you were making a radial farm, you won't need linear chassis' nor any block behind the mechanical harvesters, because the the radial chassis already connects to mechanical harvesters, so you can have mechanical directly connected to the radial chassis, the only thing is you cannot the mechanical harvesters without a block behind them but you can get rid of the block behind them after you placed them and they still attach to the radial chassis, so you don't need to just waste resources and keep making linear chassis', by this trick, you make your farm a bit more efficient since the mechanical harvesters next to the radial chassis are able to harvest the crops that are next to the radial chassis.

For some reason it says it cant deploy my piston when i add a chasis, so it always only pulls it if only one chasis is applied to it and if i add one left or right it cant move it anymore

Multimc's ui is very VERY not user friendly

If this does not work for you, here are possible problems and fixes 1.If you sped up the shafts, the place will break. It works perfectly on 16 rpm. If you do want to speed it up, you need to put the redstone contact further away, another option is to add more delay to the redstone repeater. 2.Do NOT spam the activation buttons before everything stops. If you press the button before the gantry shift finishes its way, it will break. To fix this, reset your sequenced gearshifts, gantry shift and piston. Hope this helps

This is old so i doubt ill get an answer. But can someone explain how exactly this works? I get the concept. But what im struggling to understand is why does the piston not instantly extend after the retraction? You hit the button to start it. From there it needs two redstone signals to retract. It gets one when the two contacts connect after pressing the button. And then it gets the second one from the button press?? So it should in theory trigger instantly as soon as you hit the button to retract it. Im glad it works but i cant use this principle to build other things if i don't understand how it works

you can only build sequenced gear shift if you have nether quarts, meaning later in the game when you go to the nether. i suggest finding a way to build this without nether pieces

It worked, but I had to make several edits like adding a delay so the hatch goes up and also adding more delay to the gantry gearbox otherwise it glitches

how do I do multiplay with it?

For those having trouble getting it to close by going up. change the first gearbox so it pushes the piston 2m instead of 1 as its final step. this fixed it for me. also using glue instead of linear chassis will prevent things from sticking to the floor and being dragged with it.
