I'm Brad, a Melbourne based artist who airbrushes and custom paints motorcycles, creates weird complex pencil drawings, paints wall murals and works part time in a pinball machine factory. I'm pretty new to making videos but I've been airbrushing for over 20 years.

I don't ever post anything political, but I do hide things in some of my drawings that no one ever notices. So I thought today being another interesting day in the current series of "what the fuck is going on in the USA?", coinciding with Joe Biden finally pulling the pin on his campaign, and a recent amazing rendition (yes this is real, look up Ingrid Andress sings anthem if you don't believe me) of Star Spangled Banner at a baseball game, not to mention the attempted assassination of you-know-who, i think it's safe to say we need a bit of a laugh at how absurd things are getting. Here's the last job for the year 2023. I spent a lot of time on this one, from the design mock-up to the airbrushing which probably took around 70 hours. Hope you enjoy the clip.

I know of him. Not personally. Doing tutorials is a whole other can of worms that I don't have time or energy to do at the moment but maybe in the future when I get through my current workload

Question. I noticed a shine on parts of the artwork as you went forward. Are you spraying clear after each layer of color? If so, is it a clear undercoat and do you sand and continue doing detail? I’m new to this and noticed my color(s) would slightly be removed when masking small details so I’m thinking of clearing after each phase. Is that correct?
Yeah I spray an intercoat clear in-between certain layers if it gets a bit furry.
Are you using waterbased paint?
I have in the past but I recently am using automotive grade paint. @@bradpaynedesigns
You are a God gifted Artist. Like your talent and your style. I tried airbrushing back in the 70's but didn't have much luck. I so want to try again as I'm an artist as well, mine in fine-line pen/ink/watercolors. I really like tigers but also fond of Native work like what you did here. Thank you for sharing this Great piece. I'm just curious how much you get for something like this?

Lost count, maybe 80 hours
What size needle for airbrush and what air psi that came out badass
I use a few custom microns which has a 0.23 and a 0.18 nozzle. PSI is about 40, I don't know I just go by sound for my psi, I can hear when it's right
