Be aware this tutorial is unfinished. He doesn't get this going, there is no part 3. :-(
If you're stuck after this video, I would recommend watching Jordan @ Island Web Design 's "How I use Sanity and Astro to Build Custom Content Management Systems For My Web Design Clients" I feel like it helped me a lot
This is not freddo cappuccino. This is just cappuccino. For Freddo you have to first cold the coffee by blending 1 ice cube with a double espresso in a blending machine. For the froth, you have to blend cold milk for about 15-20seconds until it becomes frothy. (Steaming is irrelevant to this recipe since it makes things hot and not cold) Then you serve the cold coffee in a glass with 3-4 ice cubes (just pour over) and then on top of coffee you pour the froth.
Great tutorial! Thanks
You know... the potential is pretty crazy
Yo really like this series but part 3 will never see the light of day? It’s exactly what I was looking for and really happy with the pace and the extensive explanations. Anyways good luck with you coffee business and thanks for your videos! If you have any recommendations for learning Astro + Sanity let me know.
Love that you fumble as you go through your video!
ok, I completed 6 videos at once. Thank you. (I am learning MERN from last 8+ months)
Thank you. This channel is Underrated. I starred this tutorials repo on github.
Very helpful, great work!
Thank you very much.
Straight to the point! Love it! This is the exact use case beginner guide I've been looking for.
Your '.eleventy.js' file... the contents are ignored. If I leave all that out, it works fine.
I can't get your code to work.
thanks for the updates!
cool. now try half pepsi half milk. you're welcome.
thank you very much sir, you helped me lot i can even create 2 collections ├── blog │ ├── blog.html │ └── posts │ ├── post-1 │ └── post-2 ├── photos │ ├── photos.html │ └── posts │ ├── photo-1 │ ├── photo-2
Thanks for everything you've shared, I just recently discovered it cuz I want to learn Astro and Sanity, I found them interesting, and I'm glad you'll start your own business, God bless!
I was expecting to show us how to dynamically render Sanity components from the page (or post) content but what you do is basically read the docs.
it is wonderful. this is what I have been looking for for a long time. Thank you
Natively in astro this would not be the problem because there are multiple ways to do this using React custom code components + mdx files + astro-expressive-code, but if you are rendering the markdown from CMS (Strapi in my case) and want to render the markdown serverside (using marked) + syntax highlighting for code component (marked-highlight + highlight.js) , then creating a copy button for individual code block is literal pain in the ass. A custom web component is a great approach ngl, Very much helpful solves all problem. Thanks Jaydan✌
hey, littlesticks is down
Hi there, please watch the end of my latest video. I still need to update all links but something new is coming this year!
What happened to littlesticksdev
I address this at the end. Keep your eyes peeled for the replacement(s) in the coming weeks. I already moved Odyssey Theme to a new domain. odyssey-theme.sapling.supply/
I feel like I've lost the skills I had (if any) at one point talking to a camera for 10 minutes straight 😅 I guess I'll have to start from square one again!
Can I host all of this in Cloudflare?
Thank you so much, I am using Astro and I am - still in ideation and definition - a great personal project to design and develop components, and this is the thing that was missing for me in my roadmap. Thank you so much again!!!
Hello Jaydan, thank you so much for this. I'm having an issue. The block head/ endblock isn't working on my end. Once I create a file for it, my terminal throws up an error and it no longer loads on my browser. Could this be a problem with my computer? I don't now. I ave tried to find an answer but I can't. The solutions on Chat GPT are not even working. Any advise?
Appreciate the tutorial! I would suggest conditionally adding a meta header with content "noindex, nofollow" for tags. Thanks again for the video!
Followed this... and I'm getting "Property 'title' does not exist on type 'never'." when displaying a single post.
Thank you! Decided to create a blog and your tutorials are extremely helpful!
Honored to be first! I love your videos!
Thank you so much! Expect to see more going into the next year now that we've established the coffee trailer a bit 🙌🏼
That’s a damn strong cup😂
Haha ya I don't mess around with my morning coffee! 😅🤪
No
Don't knock it 'til you try it! It's in the same vein of an espresso tonic which is one of my favorite drinks. Just more sweet and the added grapefruit flavor, obviously.
Ur so underrated hopefully you blow up soon
Wow, I really appreciate that, thank you! Tell your fellow coffee-loving friends haha I'm working on new content formats and trying my best to be more consistent over the next few months and into next year.
How can I get my website to update when I added new data to sanity?
I have a question when you garnish a drink you eat it if it is edible
Shortly after that first sip I squeezed it into the drink and then ate it. I like plain grapefruit though so I think it's just whatever you prefer! Idk I'm not a bartender so I'm not sure what proper high end drinking etiquette is 😅
@@jaydanurwin thanks
Underateddd
For sure! I was so surprised how well these two went together. The citrus and acidity from the espresso were like 🤝🏼 haha
