Thanks! I really appreciate that! The CMF line is one of my favorite things Lego does especially because of how often they reference other themes. I probably won't do a full review like this on the Formula 1 wave coming out in a few months, but I'll do a video on them. I'll probably go back and go over some older CMF stuff soon, and if the rumors are true about a Spiderverse wave this year, I'm really going to sink my teeth into those.
Why didn't you use the Lion shield from Medieval Village Square? That's canonically the shield that was being made for the queen.
That's a good question. I may swap it out in the future, but I did make this chess set about a six months or so before the Medieval Town Square was announced. The main reason I didn't give her that shield is because I wanted her and the king to have the same shield, and although the new shield is on pick a brick, I still only have one of them.
Ironically, historically crossbows were used more often by underdogs than bows The reason is that a bow could take months or years of training to be able to use, while a crossbow is much easier to use: just point and shoot.

Yeah this has been a rough figure. I've only found two in the wild, and that's because I asked my Lego Store when they would get more in. Then I showed up early that day. It's crazy that there have been absolutely none every time most people go to look.

Wolfpack and Forestmen are my two favorite vintage castle themes and I’m thrilled that they’ve brought Wolfpack back! I’ve got 8 of the first fig and I’ve found 8 of the CMF but I think I’m going to try to get 8 more because it’s so dang good!!!

It has been insane. I have not found a single one in the wild either. I honestly don't mind too much that people are getting a bunch right now for their own collections. It's the scalpers I'm having a hard time with at this point.

Yesterday for release day, I was scanning like crazy trying to find the WolfPack Master. I was like one of the first few people in line so my chances were extremely high since they had 3 full sets out for people to scan. I went over and started scanning, and I was able to find him! He was the only one I was after obviously because he’s the best in the series. I actually was able to get 2 of him which is even better. While I was waiting in line for check out, I saw tons of people scanning like crazy, most likely trying to find him.
I'm glad you got a couple! He is for sure the one everyone is after. I've been looking for more to do another video on him. I've been to a bunch of stores around and have scanned quite a few, and I still only have the one. Hopefully the craze dies down a little bit within the next couple weeks. I also hope everyone who wants some can get a couple without having to pay second hand prices.

I went to a few stores today as well looking for a couple Wolfpack as well as helping some friends find some of the figures they were wanting. And it's the same story here. I found several of all of the figures in this series except for the Beastmaster.

I also have a huge fantasy bias but at the end of the day when I’m judging how good a I think the Characters are from CMFs it all comes down to how versatile that parts are if I can reuse any part and it not feel locked into to specific of a purpose or theme that awesome customization is where my mind always goes with these figs and to me this time around the wolf packer & pirate have the best parts the hamster, dino, monster, plush girl, cat guy to me are kinda boring & aren’t very versatile the space kid, jet packer, long boarder, cupid, & inventor are cool I can use some parts but are mostly too specific but i like them still nonetheless that leaves only the pirate & wolf guy which are soo cool top notch characters
That's not a bad way to rank figures at all! I agree the Beastmaster and Pirate have the best pieces for customization 100%.
The hair for the cupid is Jay's new hair that was introduced in the Lego Ninjago Movie in 2017 just recolored in blonde (it was used for Cooper in Lego Dreamzzz)

Oh cool! I don't keep up much with Friends, but I just looked them up, and they look pretty awesome! I also noticed they're adding the yarn ball in yellow in a set too.

The head on the jetpack racer looks perfect to acquire in bulk for more military-style space minifigures.
That's a good point! It's a great military head. I'm also excited to see what they do with the helmet in the future too.

I mentioned this in the short, but the necgnomancer is fantastic and I had no idea I needed it until now. I'd love to see an entire video on his backstory and lore! (And am now imagining him just chilling in somebody's garden... menacingly.)

The castle coin is out of stock
I'm not sure why they still have the coin up on the website to be honest. It was one of the earlier rewards they had. The only reward I talk about that should still be in stock as of right now is the Royal Knights magnet. The hat I mention might be in stock too, but I'm not sure.

I really want LEGO to make more real BAM monster figures instead of mostly people in costumes. I think making them real monsters makes the figures more unique, and it would be a great opportunity for people to get iconic Halloween monsters for those who missed out on the older minifigures. I also would love to see more named characters like they did with Ninjago last year and this year with DREAMZzz.

The blue wizard pieces were exclusive to the build a minifigure station at Lego stores in 2022. The best way to get it now is to order the pieces off Bricklink. (The last three links). I recently watched The Last Dance with my mom, there was like one more group of people in the theater, aside from that it was empty.
I didn't expect it to be huge or anything, but I haven't really seen that before. Granted I haven't been to the theater a ton in the past few years.
@Bosbrick i think some of the reasons were that it was late on a sunday, and it had already been showed earlier in the day, as well as on the friday and saturday.
