Dr. Eberhart's storytelling on this lovely episode and Corinna's interesting perspective only emphasize and validate the need for leadership and the participatory collective.

We hear it again and again, pushing one person to make drastic changes alone is not the solution to the existential crisis we live through. However, as a collective, we are more powerful to influence corporation and government entities. We know the solution, we need to unite against modern capitalism and actively make that change. This is why Compassiviste exists. But, the biggest danger is not the "opposition" because this segment is just interested in making money. If we tell BP or Nestle or HSBC what we want by voting for our collective preference with our money as the consumer, all of these so-called "opposition" groups will respond. We have enough awareness of the issue, we have enough education of global warming, and we know we need to act. We have done fairly well in raising awareness from digital to physical protest and we have become adequately knowledgeable that this is the ultimate crisis the planet faces (not just humans but all life we affect) whether through witnessing natural disasters or learning through information and education channels. What we lack is the active participation which requires the leadership that is non-present today. This is where the true opposition exists. We each buy into success at the material (capitalist) level and as such we climb the corporate ladder. This is where we, like all those before us, forget our spiritual responsibility to the world. Leadership is the true void of our participatory collective to ignite and activate the global majority supporting this need to do better. Who is going to lead? Who is going to support this person or group who steps to the plate, taking this massive responsibility on as their legacy? This is what each of us has to ruminate on.

The fat free movement taught us that we need healthy fats. Whole Foods is a great movement, however the “no oil” will create other problems. Ideal weight is only one factor. The Mediterranean diet is filled with olive oil. Healthy fats are important for heart health. “Real doctors” especially heart doctors who have operated on people are saying that healthy fats are good for you. The blue zones use oil.

Plant based diet is vegan propaganda 💀

Great interview. I used to do “VB6” intentionally a few years ago and quite enjoyed it, although overtime I ended up going back to eating animal products before dinner since I’m an all or nothing person… I now don’t eat animal products before dinner on most (but not all) days- not intentionally, but I’ve just realised that’s what I’m doing out of preference vs out of a restriction mentality ❤
