God the commentary is soooooo baaaaad. Watching Michael Rasmussen decent that horrible descend and they cannot tell that he's actually good at it. He's no Savoldelli or Sagan but he's riding to the edge and he never skids or locks up. His lines are just not the ones those morons (Who never rode bikes themselves) would take. Same guys that raved on about how Nibali was Soooooooo good down hill because he took such risks and was oh so fast.... Guess what? When his youthfull spirit left him he turned into on of the worst descenders I've ever seen cause he wasn't that good technically when it came down to it and had lost all his courage and got scared. But oh no he was still so fast and good. Just because you look in difficulty doesn't mean you are. Rasmussen's style wasn't pretty but if he was that bad, how come he never crashed other then that famous TT in 2004 ofc. Rasmussen rode Contador out of the wheel going downhill a year later several times and Alberto was a pretty good descender. Doesn't get worse then British commentary as far as actually having knowledge about the actual race that's happening in front of you.

Incredible how unsuitable most of the bikes were for pros back in the day . Compare how they look today to how uncomfortable and awkward most of these boys look . Most of them are about 10kg heavier than their modern day athletes.

Great upload. But my god British commentary has always been the absolute worst. Who in their right mind believed that Fabian Cancellara could keep yellow on the stage to Andorra? It was impossible and his own team said he'd try but it wouldn't be possible.

opportunistic and shameful is the only way to describe hincape's win. cheering for him is like cheering for the parasite to kill the host. zero effort in the entire breakaway and then speeding up to steal the win from the man who put in the most effort. once it was clear armstrong is not chasing or will be needing his help, he should have joined in the effort with the other riders in the breakaway, that is the code. no respect.
