Yeah salt Creek is pretty fun, especially on the smaller days. It was so glassy on this day

@Bodyboarding27 I'm old by age but young at heart. I left in 93, lived there for 10 years. Still friends with some Pros from back in the day. I lived in Huntington, but we traveled for the best waves.Salt Creek is consistently good, and more hollow than HB

That wave was most likely 5 or 6 feet and I kind of expected it to come because of the overall size of the waves on that day. By the way, where do you usually go bodyboard? Thanks for the comment

@@Bodyboarding27 usually at the creek in the summer, other times on the east coast, I went to T street few times, new port is alright too. We have waves here in the fall on the east cost, but very dumpy, feels different, if you ever come to NY area let me know, the waves are different, but there are days it is similar to OC, rare but is there.

btw, you are more advanced, I see a pro developing here, keep it up but be safe.

@@ocean-barrels thanks for the compliment! Yeah, T Street is overall my favorite spot to go to because it is so fun to try tricks and you can get some pretty long rides there

@@ocean-barrels if it is a fast moving set wave, I will usually aim my board at an angle in order to gain enough speed. This will help me make a section or a barrel since I can go faster at the beginning of the wave

@@Bodyboarding27 thanks much for the input, I struggled to catch those fast moving waves with the angled approach, but it could be I was too far out and should have come inside more, thanks for letting me know the way you approach it. when you outside the wave looks smaller, from the inside they all look like giants, if that make sense, lol

I did get tossed a bit underwater, but it was nothing much. It wasn't such a big wave compared to the ones coming through during the session. There were a couple that a let roll by that were most likely sketchy 5 foot closeout barrels.

I also do that because I have the GoPro on the upper left side of the board so I can't switch the position of my hands unless my arm would be covering the GoPro.
