For a long time it was Bioshock 1 but I recently changed it to this game funnily enough!

While I do disagree with some placements especially with Luigi, I love how you went in depth with a lot of the cast and provided information most people wouldnt bring up at all. Nice video man 👍

Lucas also has a bad oos game, his vertical pressure is really bad, has blindspots diagonally above and below him, some of his moves are inconsistent, some moves are - on hit like sourspot f-tilt, d-tilt and up-smash and he’s really hard to play. A lot of characters can do what he does but better and with less effort while lucas has to give it all with less reward than the other chars.
That was all very well said! I mentioned alot of this in my unedited version but unfortunately it was absurdly long so I had to cut a ton of stuff out to get the final video to this length 😅. Thank you for commenting and watching my video!
@@lucamogliazzi4596 Nah most of this is more so like older brawl and smash 4 lucas, buffed lucas in smash ult has an amazing shorthop fastfall
he has very uncontestable tilts on whiff. his ftilt 2 frames, kills, pushes back on shield, can be mashed practically a second time without being punished or reacted. dtilt also helps in this case, Lucas doesn't excel because he has many good tools that he has to create a mixed both defensive and offensive hybrid playstyle. he is very good close up and at midrange. He is solo viable imo as his conversions both near the ledge and his safety pressure and solid air speed help him in addition to a solid recovery, decent neutral and advantage. He just takes a lot of additional work to succeed and be solo viable, djcz is a neutral tool that people underutilize for spacing. like lucas can trade well and has great advantage from his tilts and aerials can combo at any percent forever unlike some characters while having solid kill confirms
BRO WHAT??!? YOU BASICALLY JUST SAID ALMOST ANY BOTTOM OR MID TIER DOES EVERYTHING BETTER THAN LUCAS? first off, there are some easier to hit characters who are lighter, taller, bigger, worse airdodges and air speeds. Like LUCAS EXCELS AT RECOVERY AIRDODGING, conditioning, safety pressure, using his tools to force jumps and shield
Lucas quite literally has to respected and some characters need to shield or escape his pressure as they can't punish his safe buttons out of shield. he isn't even that floaty, rewards spacing but also learning your percent windows, mixups, both onstage. Fair, zair and ftilt are required to be fully utilized while dash attack and fire are ways to call out commitments in addition to pivot grabbing landing, lucas's grab is very good, very good pummel damage, throws and he has dthrow zair till 30%. He also has item specific tech and in some matches item oos or holding that and using footstool and and his normal oos can work against characters like sora. He can still punish really well with parry tilts
All I'll say for Ganondorf vs Little Mac is this: Sure you can platform camp Little Mac, but you don't even need platforms to camp Ganondorf.
I agree! I personally prefer fighting Ganondorf over Little Mac for that reason cause I can just bully him more with aggression, but he still has that slight chance of making something happen with his stupidly powerful moves whereas Litte Mac is actually unable to even touch you if you are platform camping unless he is on FD of course. Dude ddog still 2-0 tweek even when he playing seph
Tweek said himself that the only times he has pulled out Sephiroth since offline was on a whim and he didn’t want to bring it out most times. His Sephiroth was never well practiced when he brought it out, even against Dark Wizzy and he still managed to take a game. I don’t doubt Ddog is a great player but I would like to see how he fares now that Tweek is seriously practicing the character and is looking to solo main him. Of course there are sets where characters manage to beat their bad matchups, but I don’t think that means the matchup isn’t losing. The Infinity Con set of Jake vs. Ned is a great example on why I think the matchup is so bad. I appreciate the comment and thank you for taking your time to watch!
Kirby kid has shown me king k rool isn't unviable lol
Kirby kid is an incredible player and I believe he was ranked top 100 in the Orion Ranking which is a great feat. However, my definition of viability is getting top 8 and I don’t think K. Rool is able to do that with any amount of consistency even with a pilot such as Kirby Kid. I actually talked about Kirby Kid but had to cut it out since my original video was alot longer and I wanted to get it as close to 2 hours as possible. I can definitely see an argument to move K. Rool up a bit to Borderline though. Thank you for watching the video and commenting!

Roys recovery is way worse than people think. It loses to many sex kicks and just normal aerials. It’s a common misconception how big it actually is. And for sours it makes it hard to fight low profile characters and you can miss your kills. Sour combos honestly aren’t that important. Plus chrom has his own strengths people over look like being able to out space certain characters. In short I think Roy and Chrom are way closer on the tier list than most people think.
That’s reasonable, I knew that Roy struggle with someone like pikachu much more than Chris, but sweet dots on the general cast are like almost guaranteed, especially with his incredible frame data. Thanks for watching and commenting!

I didn't know about that actually. I know there is a really good French Kirby who consistently places in tournaments. But the main thing I mean is consistently and feasibly. Once I see Kirby consistently do good then I would definitely consider a re-placing. thank you for watching and commenting though!

When I see a tier list with relatively-few views in my feed, I usually will go in expecting to laugh at some horrible placements with dumb or sometimes straight up non-existent explanations, but god damn this one is really well made. Literally the only complaint I have is how you ignored the Mii fighters, because they are definitely worth talking about in my opinion (especially brawler). Otherwise, this is a banger tier list

@@lucamogliazzi4596 no problem man, I main Incin myself and so many people on my crew say he’s bottom 3 and worse than Mac. Even when I try to explain how he’s honestly not even that bad they just say the same “but he’s slow so he won’t be able to use (insert reason why he’s not that bad)”. Also I would like to say, as a Steve co-main, that Steve is definitely not bottom of high tier, I personally think he’s the top half of the middle of high tier. He has a lot options to deal with things and while a lot of his stats are bottom 10 they don’t really affect him that much because of his playstyle. Either way, nice video and overall pretty decent list.

@@lucamogliazzi4596 the placement for him is perfect but some of the characters under him are better and some that are above him are worse. All the characters you have under him besides the bottom 5 and maybe lucario are better than him while characters you put above him are worse (Plant, D3, Mii Swordfighter, Puff, and a few others)

and i think hes rly hard one of the best gren in the world made 5 guides that were 25 min long and still hasnt finished making them one of the guides is only about counter because its that technical but i c why u think hes easy because his neutral is very simple being fair d tilt neutral b and nair but i think hes one of the hardest characters to master
Oh yeah something I should have mentioned is that I think every single character is hard to play at top level. I can definitely imagine a high skill ceiling for the character, I speak in terms of picking a character up in the video.
i must say u put gren rly low he has top tier potential he lacs in ofs but that pretty much it besides being consistent in killing hes better than young link i think he can camp very well hes top ten in every movement option has rly disjointed and big moves nair can out space palu nair has amazing mu spread only has around three horrible mu can abuse his speed has a rly good rush down and bait and punish game i think hes lower cuz u maybe havnt seen a rly good gren if u have then sorry for this rly long comment

I could definetely have put him a couple spots higher, but I don’t think he is quite at top tier potential. I feel like he is super close to being there. Good list but I don’t really think shielding is that good in this game. Also, this is a bit of personal bias but Ridley’s weight honestly doesn’t matter that much. With such a great recovery he can live up to ~160 given the right conditions. Of course it matters to some degree, but I hate when people call him a middleweight which make people think he’s Mario weight when really he’s only 11 units lighter than Ganon. That being said your placement of him is more or less where I’d put em.

I mainly think shielding is good because the direct counter play to shield has always been grabbing, but many characters have options much better than their grabs in this game in terms of speed and reward, but I can definetely see your point. 3. The Ridley point is completely valid, I Definitely am biased as a sheik main, I can combo Ridley forever and then work less for the kill compared to other big bodies. 4. I think that Ganon is worse than Little Mac, because MAYBE ganon’s recovery is objectively better but Little Mac at least has speed on the ground to him. He’s at least good on the ground. Ganon isn’t good at anything. Ps. You have a new sub
Yeah I have seen some tierlists that don’t put him as the worst and I just don’t understand that. You have to play a specific game vs little max or he’ll just run you down. Also thanks for the sub!
