I'm watching this as we head back to LA. Our 3 week vacation throughout the Philippines is about to end. What an incredible vacation. Like most we expected delays but Manila airport was actually pretty quick to processing passengers. No need to be there early. You'd be surprised how fast and organized Manila airport has become. No need to be at the airport hours ahead to board the flights. We used Grab at the airport to get to our hotel and it wasn't stressful at all. Much easier than LAX. think our elders, back in the day always made sure we got the airport hours before our flight but in all honesty, Manila has modernized and there's no need to do that. We basically walked through Phillipines immigration in less than 10 seconds. We definitely over thought the process. Enjoy your trip and safe travels.
