International KB Truck Build Introduction
hey good job.... im in the business....you should show the people what its like to cut the old crap out... show them the tools and the amount of rust and crap that gets in your eyes, your skin ,your hair..the dirt and rust we have to clean up... when i do this work my shop has tools all over the place.... then when you sweep up there like a hill of garbage.... show em the dirty side of us doing this....people hes showing you the nice stuff. oh and show them the welds we have to grind down after the welding.... also then the seam sealing and sanding, and then the materials we have to spray on to do the finishing work.... spraying the sealer, then the paint.... you have to go to the autobody supplier and buy all the materials...wait till you have to pay for all that....$$$$....
Just subscribed to your channel. I love the content
You're talented indeed.., any updates on this build.
looks good man, i gotta do the same to my 68 firechicken
How do you know where the frame rails go exactly?
Lots of measuring before I actually took the car apart. Don't be afraid it's way easier than it looks or seems.
you need a mic sir
Is the Nova frame one you had or is there difference using other frames?
I'm working on a similar rust bucket. It needs just about everything. I have a new floor pan, trunk pan with frame rails & a firewall & cowl. I didn't know what to do first. I'm going to start at the front like you did with the firewall & cowl I think. When those are in, I'll do the ears and button up the front. Then I'll do the rocker panels then the floor. I should have good lines to put the trunk, rear quarters & roof. The only thing that scares me are the windshield pillars. They don't look good.
Any updates? Great job so far
Nice video. Thank you for taking the time to make and post. Just subscribed
Any updates on your project? Just started following along, great videos
I love a project, but why would anyone bother with only a cowl and roof ?
Man. You are my hero. Thanks you for walking me through this process. Your floor is in the same condition mine is. I'll be following these videos to do my restoration. Thx
Love the videos @autobuddyjoe4816 please come back with some updates
Hey Joe, I'm getting ready to tackle the inner and outer rockers of my 1989 VW. If I was doing this while keeping my floor pans, would I just cut out the old inner rocker, and spot weld the inner rocker to the floor pan? Also, I'm curious to see how you do the outer rocker. Are you going to drill out the spot welds between the inner and outer rockers, replace the outer rocker panel, and then redo the spot welds? Thanks for making these videos!
Great! Thanks Joe! I`ll do this way into my front end swap!
Thank you for a lot of useful information and tips in a relatively short video. Not too much out there on 60's GM muscle era cars on replacement of inner rocker panels. Im up against the same task on my GTO.
Did you have to brace the car at all for the full floor pan replacement?
Joe where u at bro no vids in 3 months
Been waiting on an update on your builds for a couple months, hope all is well bud
What's phone number I can get in contact with you
Hi, what type of welder are you using?/
A 140 Hobart mig
Great video, After seen these I'm feeling better about diving in, looking forward to more videos.
Thank you very much I'm very happy it was helpful to you!!
Great video, but I'm just wondering you didn't have to brace the car before all that was cut out?? I ask because I am going to do the same resto soon...
No need to brace all the structural stuff was still intact I did the inner rockers but left the outer rockers then did the outer rockers after the floor and the inners were done
brother I hope you end up with a million subs, great work
Wow thank you very much I really appreciate it!
Love this, Thank you for posting!
Not a problem thank you for watching
Thanks for making these videos.
No problem we're a little behind on the videos from where the car is actually at but they will be coming out
Great video! Film everything! Even if it's a time lapse, viewers are bored and looking for something to watch. Someone might pick up on something so small that could lead to more questions or video. I'm planning on starting a channel soon and enjoying your content. Keep it up!
Thank you very much I really appreciate it

Great update Joe…thx for posting!
No problem thank you bud
Nice job!!
Thank you very much I appreciate it
Are you going to encapsulate the rusted structures or convert it with either POR or Eastwood products? This way it won’t rust through again?
Now that it has come back apart it's time to clean it all up treat it with converter. Then I spray it with the epoxy after treating it
How do you make that look so easy?!
I really don't know just keep moving forward 🤣
Doing a great job. Filming and fab. Good luck 👍
Thank you very much I appreciate it
Braver man than me cutting all that away. Good on ya! 👍 I was able to get 67 Camaro frame rails - no cutting required. Looking good.
