Filmed in 20th December 2021 - End of Covid Lock Down
Maria Gillen wanted to record a story within the 300 year old walls of Sheehans Storytelling Cottage. It had been a tough 2 years of Covid Lockdown and Storytellers were peeping their heads out to start the reconnection.
Sharon Dickson, Frances Kennedy & Sonny Egan were booked to come and add stories to the nascent recordings of stories withon these hallowed walls. Colin & Carol Urwin decided to surprise Maria with a visit & she was DELIGHTED to see her 'Story Brother' & his lovely wife after so long.
We thank God we are out of the Covid Lockdown era now & we hope that we will always have the deep bonds of Story Connection that kept us bound together during that time 😊🙏🔥...

Langston Kelly grew up in New York in the USA and moved to Florida to attend University. Having met Maria Gillen at FatE (Festival at the Edge) in the UK he was enticed to come to Ireland for the Southern Storytelling Spine (Cape Clear, Coatmacsherry and Listowel Storytelling Festivals) he was a huge hit wherever he went singing us songs with his lovely lyre.
