@@joaohenriqueneuhaus2023 no, the plates do in fact trigger the boulders to change direction. No coincidence about it. As I walk over the plate you can indeed hear the mechanism change direction.

@@Rain1dog For the reason I just mentioned, the place which triggers the change in direction is the same as the pressure plate. Now do as I say and pass through the fog gate near the boulder path with Siegmeyer...No pressure plate there, but you'll see the boulder change again.

@@joaohenriqueneuhaus2023 there are a few locations throughout the fort that the player causes the boulder to change directions. I spent a hour the other night messing around with it. It is not just that one location.

@@Rain1dog Then you're confirming it's not pressure plates...How many of those locations which trigger the boulder have? The plate in front of the large titanite chest? The plate in front of the triple arrow trap? Does any of these pressure plates do something? And if the answer is NO, than how can we still say "if you step on a trap plate it will change direction boulders"?

@@rohithgeorge7530 best kind of discovery tbh. I tried getting into DSR a few times but I give up from getting lost. I usually beat the gargles but after that I’m lost. This time something clicked and I got the Gaping Dragon, beat Havel(no hit) on my 3rd attempt, and found my way to Sen’s fort. Once there I noticed the boulders and it bummed me out. Those snake guys were strong for my level so I wanted to get them killed from the arrows. After stepping on a plate for 3rd time my brain finally tuned into the sound of something mechanical engaging. Sure enough, boulders are being changed by arrow plates. A completely random discovery. A lot of fun and it has the potential to make life significantly better for a lot of players. Hope you have a wonderful 4th!

Yeah, as I was running around and triggering the traps I finally noticed the sound of “mechanical” and that the boulders changed paths. Thought that was really cool and a great touch within the game.

@@misterresagames I am very sorry to hear about your friend. I remember watching TV with my Dad back in the early 90’s thinking by the time I was an adult the world would become more peaceful. My logic was the people in power would die off and the younger generations would want peace with the world becoming smaller, so to speak do to communication tech. Unfortunately that does not seem to be the case. I’m of the mindset, we are all lucky to get a couple of handfuls of revolutions around the sun before our one opportunity at life is over for eternity. We all are one group of people with so much space/resources why not all work together to benefit everyone instead of taking advantage of others. Seems like wishful thinking on my part, though. I’ve been gaming ever since my Dad brought home an Atari 2600 in 81. I just clicked with the medium and loved playing. Still do this day many decades later I love getting lost in a great game and I’ll be this way until my last days.

I’m new to the Borderlands world. Tiny Tina Wonderlands was my first BL and then 3. I absolutely love them and wanted to go to the beginnings of the games. I am confused and thought I was playing BL2. I apologize. So this is 1? Also, I just enjoy uploading videos for my memories. I’ve never done anything professionally as one can see. It’s more for fun and if anyone happens to see to where it might bring some happy memories on an otherwise bad day. I appreciate the info drop and correcting my confusion on the game I am playing.

@@MomogetsRevenge thanks! I came across Tiny Tina Wonderlands as my first BL and really really loved the game from aesthetics, characters, and gameplay. So I went to BL3 after that and got the Plat because I loved it so much. Looks like I tricked myself into playing the prequel next(doh!) thinking it was 2. This actually makes me happy because I have another 159-200 hours of this glorious game left to experience!

BL3 was my introduction to the universe and I fell in love with the franchise then so I am now working my way back to the original games. So what I am playing is BL the first one? Appreciate the reply and knowledge drop!

Hey, I really appreciate this reply. This is my first time playing DS2 and I’m really enjoying it. It kind of vaguely reminded me of Everquest for some reason and I loved Everquest so I picked it up. I’m still trying to figure out when the I-frames start with a dodge roll so because of that lack of confidence I’ve used a shield as a crutch. I do want to get to a point where it is a thing of beauty like a dance vs circling him with a shield out. Really cool that you took a moment to offer some great tips, thank you. @@Rain1dog Yeah Dark Souls 2 is good, expecially the base game, not so much for me the scholar of the first sin version (because they've change the positions of the enemies and added new ones), it was the first game for me, so it is actually my favorite souls game, even tho most people believe it is the worst from software's games. I-frames start immediately when you press the dodge button, in ds2 the adaptability stat is what increases those i-frames's duration. But even if with a low adaptability, you can still dodge good, if you have the skill. You can try and manipulate bosses by staying behind them and changing the directions in which you are moving, making them attack on the one side, but since you went to that side only slighty and immediately went to the another, he will completely miss you, unless it's a big 360 degree attack. But all of those are just nuances that come with time, when you get the feeling of the distance and pathing of the certain attacks. For me, it was always tideous and time wasting, to die from a boss for 10-20 times and walk to it, so i started using an app called "WeMod", which are basically cheats, that allow you, among other things, to get infinite hp, allowing you to practice the boss's attack patterns and die when you feel that you got it good in your head, you can also watch some quick boss guides for a specific boss. There is a good ds2 playthrough that goes in detail, called" ds2 expert playthrough", the guy knows his stuff, even though mechanicaly his not that good. The best weapon in ds2 is the regular rapier, which you can buy from the blacksmith in majula for 1000 souls. It's strong because it allows you to deal absurd "counter-strike" damage, which is basically damage done to the enemies while they are in a attack animation, this boss also gave you a Leo's ring, which also boosts that. There a lot more tips, but idk what you know and what you don't know. Cheers.

@@orthodox357 I just learned of the adaptability stat last night as I was reading. I increased my ADP to 12 which increased my AGI to 91 and if I under correctly I increased my I-frame time from .167 seconds to around .333 seconds which is significant. I really appreciate the time you took for a stranger to offer advice in helping them get enjoyment from the game. Super cool and I’m very appreciative of this knowledge bomb. @@ezaezx yep, I found out about ADP stat last night reading the wiki. I got it to around 12 and that increased my AGI to around 92. Think I read I have .333 of a second for I-frames from .167. Sounds insignificant but that is a huge boost. I appreciate the info! 🤙

Thanks, matter of fact as I was watching a channel FireandIce that has no commentary play throughs that a couple of Invaders I faced were A.I. haha. I am extremely new to the Souls games and I instantly thought red character means player controlled. I appreciate the clarification! 🙂

@@Rain1dog Haha yeah, no problem man. Actually when I first played Dark Souls, I too thought I got invaded by players, until weeks later when I realized I didn't even have a Playstation Plus subscription at the time so I couldn't even play online.

Always puts a smile on my face when it’s 2-4 people all jumping in a confined space trying to kill each other. Those grunting sounds from jumping becomes comical at that point. All around great memories! Hope you had a great weekend!

It is actually a really solid game. If you have PS-Plus you can get it there. The Co-Op story mode(can be played single player with AI) is a blast(no microphone needed) and the multiplayer mode is solid.

The best few rounds of Fortnite I’ve ever played in trio group! Was a great night!

Yeah, not sure why. It was recorded in 4K and RUclips even shows the 4K on the screen next to the video but only 1080 plays. No idea why.
