"Owen" lol the constructor was called BRM, no one ever referred to the team as "Owen", despite it being the official team name (Owen Racing Organisation).
Yep. Back in the days when Constructor and Team weren’t always the same. Very much a tough decision on my side - I expected I’d get comments either way honestly. Stewart raced for the works BRM team and I chose to label them as Owen to differentiate from a customer BRM team - perhaps wrong on this occasion but it’s the decision I made. Tyrrell ran a March chassis for the bulk of 1970 before Stewart ran the new Tyrrell 001 for the last three races - it was still the same Tyrrell team all season; any comments on that one? 😂
Yeah tbf I could nitpick the entire Matra/Tyrrell thing as well but it was still something of a works team, or the team driving a March for most of 1970. I just thought you are some sort of an entitled new fan that doesn't do their homework, and felt like picking on you xD, was pleasantly surprised with such a professional reply. Cheers, keep up the good work.
