I go over my thoughts on why the lr3 was the best choice for a large 7 seater suv, what it’s taken to keep it on the road after 50k miles, mods done, and future plans. Thanks for watching! I fixed my 2008 Land Rover lr3 over a year ago for under $100.00 with a used 2006 lr3 cluster, when swapping the cluster out I called GAP and got the license to program the unit using the gap diagnostics lr3 tool! Prior the car would not start at times, randomly unlock and hazards would suddenly flash as well. Before replacing I found 1 broken wire, repaired it, cleaned and tested the connector...
I’m not a Range Rover guy, but as someone who’s had to figure out super specific, obscure problems on my own, you’re a real one for putting this in the universe.

I have the exact same symptoms on my 08 LR3. How can you test the cluster to make sure that’s the issue? My air suspension will not raise in the front or rear. Could the cluster cause this problem?
You should still be able to use the air, do you have a list of the codes present ?
Hey I also have the same problem . I been researching and found out that we have to calibrate the steering angle to solve the suspension.
@Truckingincanady2023 simply calibrate by turning the wheel full lock left and right on startup

Anybody who thinks a LR isn’t reliable also thinks that Taco Bell doesn’t cause diarrhea 😂😂 I have 2 different models, one is an 09 and one is a 15. With proper maintenance They are as reliable as politicians stealing money
Best choice and well explained!! The air suspension is so great on those! It was wise to keep it. And if you changed most of the parts you won't have any issues with it for another 10+ years. I got the 3L V6 LR4 but the V8 is also a good engine! The fun factor with this truck is hard to explain but it just puts a smile on the driver's face Congrats & Cheers!

It's been reliable then tells us all that has repaired and replaced....
Mind you all of this is at 200k miles my 3rd gen 4runner had a rack blow, ball joint fail, coils fail etc all around 170k 🙂 for what it is I’d say that’s not bad
Too many people pay Focus money for a Discovery and think they can run it on Focus money.
Good truck man, congrats. IMHO you should start "mods" under the hood, mine 2005 V8 on 32s with 205k on a clock = 15 mpg mixed

I bought mine 2006 and it’s great. Bought mine w 115,677. It was switched from air to coil. Only thing I had to do was massive air flow sensor. My advice don’t get a cheap one. I paid 222.00 and it runs like a dream. All in all it’s great I love mine Highly recommend.
By chance is it lifted on coils? If these parts go I’d like a 3” lift on the coils but everything I find is 2.5
