@@mesi9674 Great question! I did a Silk Press on her, so the curls wouldn’t set that fast on flat ironed hair. She had gotten her hair done for “Back to School” & since she was a long time client, I let her have the flex rods. But she slept in them so that she could have curls the next day for the 1st day of School. 🤎

If you’ve been to Cosmetology School & have hours, you would need to contact your School and/or the State Board of Cosmetology in your State that you live in, they should be able to provide information for you regarding whatever questions you may have regarding that. My video is for those who want to obtain their license without going to Cosmetology School. Also, I’m not sure what State you reside in, but there are several States that don’t require a license at all, so you can also inquire of your State Board of Cosmetology about that too. Sorry for my delay! It’s more for anti-reversion but I’d suggest using a separate Heat Protectant for your hair & would not recommend using heat too much on your hair. 🤎

You can also do a Google search which should bring up other brands which I would not be familiar with. Thank you! 🙏🏽

I would recommend that you check with your Hair Stylist who’s familiar with your hair, which should be able to answer that for you. I would have required a Consultation to answer your questions but I’ve retired now but your Stylist should be able to assist you & answer your questions. 😃

You will need to call the State Board of Cosmetology in the States that you are inquiring about (CA & TX), or you can look on the State Board websites for those States to look for info there; unfortunately, I am not certain about those States, I am here in GA. I personally think that Stylists benefit greatly when they work in a Commission Salon, it gives the Stylist an opportunity to: learn, grow & have help from a business owner and be mentored all while they have the opportunity to build up their own clientele all while not having to pay a weekly booth rental.
