thank you!
Thank you this is very helpful for me.
Thank you for your precious informations.
good video!
Thank you for the video! I encountered an issue: when I press the "Annotate" button, it does not open the PDF like you (which is correctly named in the "annotation-target" area) and instead leaves the note page blank. To restore the note page to its normal state, I have to click the "Open as Markdown" option located in the top right corner of the page (the three dots). Can you please help me?
Hi camille1740-v3z Make sure that the PDF file you want to annotate is saved within Obsidian’s designated Books folder or whichever folder you have chosen to store your PDFs. If saving the PDF in the Books folder doesn’t solve the issue, try adjusting the folder path in the "Annotator" plugin settings. Go to Settings in Obsidian. Scroll down to the Community Plugins section and find Annotator. Click on Annotator to open its settings. Look for an option like Annotation Target or Folder Path. Set the path to the folder where your PDFs are stored (e.g., Books/). Save your settings. After making these adjustments, try annotating the PDF again by clicking the "Annotate" button. If the issue persists, make sure that the plugin is updated to the latest version, as updates often include bug fixes.
PDF ++ Plugin is usefull
An empty note is displayed. what is the problem?
Here are some possible issues and troubleshooting steps: Incorrect File Path: Ensure that the file path to the PDF is correctly specified in the note. Double-check that the file name and location match what you have copied. Plugin Configuration: Verify that the "Annotator" plugin is correctly installed and enabled in Obsidian. Go to the Settings, then to the Community Plugins section, and make sure the plugin is active. File Property Setup: Ensure that the file property is correctly set to "annotation target". The property type and the field must be properly configured for the PDF annotation to work. File Format: Check if the PDF file itself is valid and not corrupted. Try opening the PDF in another PDF viewer to ensure it works correctly. Software Version: Confirm that you are using a compatible version of Obsidian and the "Annotator" plugin. Some features may not work if either the app or the plugin is outdated. Plugin Conflicts: There might be conflicts with other plugins. Disable other plugins and try using the "Annotator" plugin alone to see if the issue persists.
