Back Pain: Stories - Carey, 56
OVERVIEW / DISCOVERY
Mother of two, Carey, 56, is recently married for a second time. Her pain started at age 25. She had an appendectomy as well as two other surgeries which she thought would solve her chronic pain issues. Carey saw roughly thirty doctors until one finally diagnosed that her pain was coming from her back. Carey considers herself a “classic case.” She tried everything-especially holistic approaches-to avoid surgery. Carey felt like an actress: she would hide her pain from others and during uncomfortable activities only her family really knew what was going on.

“The brain fog is to the point of causing full depersonalization in people.” - Dr. Steven Harris
When you finally get to do a thing you waited all your LIFE to do,, and say... I CANT. 😢
People who have this and a few other chronic conditions encounter Doctors who tell then that it is all in their head or say if your earlier doctor couldn't help you theres nothing I can do for you, or after a few visits they refuse to schedule another visit; telling you that you are a drain on their resources, some doctors refuse to give or accept refferals, some doctors just tell you they don't want to see you again, or that you owe them and other doctors involved with you an appology, some doctors deny having received any indicative test results, etc, etc.
Thanks Dr Harris.
Why does the s look like a commercial?
Why would someone go from a size 12 to a size 20? My friend was diagnosed late with the new Lymes and now has Lupus among other things. What is all of it from?!
This is my wife right now, and NOTHING is helping. She has burning pain from her lymes 24/7 - is there antyhing that can be done?? Supplements, Medicine?
I'm on 600 MG 3 times a day of gabapentin and it helps
She needs antibiotics with herbal treatment. Tulane did a study on combining a few different types of antibiotics together with very positive results. I would also work with a functional practitioner that specializes in Lyme Disease. The western blot test for Lyme is total junk. Use an outside laboratory like Vibrant Wellness for the Lyme test. Much more accurate.
So how do you get well??? Talking about it is one thing, but how do you get well after having acquired Lyme?
Thank you for sharing your story! My mom, dad and sister have Lyme disease and I am finally going to get tested. What is the best test? Igenex or vibrant wellness?
Anyone here ever used SOT therapy???
I thought I had rheumatoid arthritis but I think I actually have Lyme coinfections!!!
I was bitten by an infected tick in 1986. I had a bull's eye rash and symptoms started within weeks. I was misdiagnosed for 27 years. I was told I have Late stage Lyme. I've had Lyme for 37 years now and suffer from horrible pain and other symptoms.
what kind of symptoms you have? How they diagnose you? Thanks*
Only question. What happened to the girl in the wheelchair? Why would you not follow that up.
I'm herxing bad right now!!!!! 🤯
Me too, how long did it last?
I just found out that this is what I was diagnosed with when I went to the emergency room last night. I thought I was dying. Turns out I was the first case that anyone in the emergency room has seen of it. only heard of this reaction In their schooling.
Good for you, love! Getting a positive test is So good to start! Hope you aren’t in west US! 38 yrs in Ca tried to convince Stanford, UCSF, UCD! My ER visits looked at me like insane! Just in hospital a week, NO concept! One great ICU nurse from Penn. was shocked to hear a case here! Advised me to go to rural Penn. clinic! It’s like a cold, there! Easy!👍👍👍I am native Ca, but tick bite in in Kansas/ Mo! 1986! Now I learn it was a Hotspot! Godspeed!
Many yrs of herxing! It does improve! Recently, have had to discontinue, just not healthy enough to do it at this time. Will try again later. Thanks for info!
38 yrs of Lyme! I’m nearing the end of my life! I never thought Lyme would kill me, I seemed to always work around it somehow! But throw in Covid, & you are finished!
Doctors are the worst.
Yes, Jarish herxheimer reaction can happed after getting treatment like antibiotics to treat infection. And yes, it's rare and even if you have the reaction, mostly it will go away within a day.
I have severe problems with memory retrieval and memory dissociation. I cannot support myself and I'm constantly in a state of emotional anguish over the fact that I cannot pursue my interests and manage my life. I need a caregiver but I don't think that is possible with mass health and late stage PTLDS
I’m so sorry. I wish I could help you, but I’m getting into the same boat. It’s a HUGE money drainer! I retired from teaching because of a couple different illnesses, one being mold. Now, I’m not only sick, but I was taking care of my grown son, who had mold toxicity which brought out the Lyme he’s had since age 7. It was the blind leading the blind.

I’m one of the first people in Minnesota to get Lyme disease which happened around 1983 +/- a year. I wasn’t diagnosed until June 20th 2013. I’ve now had it about 40 years. I was so sick in 2017 I thought it was going to kill me within a few years.
This is me
Follow Dr. Stephen Phillips. He wrote “Chronic”, and Lyme almost killed him and his father. Also, the woman is right. It’s not just a bacteria! I have Babesia and it is alive… not the antibody! I am now in treatment for this, and was extremely sick after I had mold toxicity and breast implant illness among other numerous infections and diagnoses. I’m dizzy, shaky, and nauseous because this parasite is in my red blood cells. I’m basically alone, and it’s living hell!
Yeah I have lyme babesia and mold too. Effectively a cripple now
@@Bloodyninenightangel You too! I broke my arm over a year ago and it’s not healing fast enough and still hurts, because of lack of blood flow, and I keep telling my Ortho that, but he keeps wanting me to get more toxic tests. There’s a guy called “The Shifter” on YT, that didn’t want to make a video, but his friends begged him to. He went everywhere to be told he had everything except Lyme. He had Lyme, and he wrote a text to me saying his friend walked within a cane because of mold toxicity and Lyme. Apparently, if you get mold toxicity, your immune system goes way down and latent Lyme and other viral infections pop up, like EBV, and other infections come to life, like shingles. I’ve heard of several women, (myself included ) that had breast implant illness, infections, 4 surgeries for me and sepsis, mold toxicity, and then Lyme. I would never have thought to get tested for Lyme, but my grown had severe mold toxicity and I took him to my mold dr and she tested him for Lyme. They were both really bad! So, when I started having headaches every day and feeling dizzy and extremely tired and pasty looking, I got tested. Yep! Several antibodies to various infections, and a LIVE Babesia parasite! Gross! So, my son just got out of a moldy jail with crappy food, for 3 months because he went into Lyme rage because he stopped his treatments for a girl. Now he has psychiatric problems big time a horrible temper. He really went downhill in jail because it was moldy and had horrible food. Now, no Lyme doctors nor psychiatric treatment places will take him because of his behavior. So we start all over with a psychotic son. I’m 69, disabled, have Lyme with Babesia parasite, ADJD and PTSD from the health issues for 21 years, a belligerent son, an arm that doesn’t work, and my only help are women coming to my aid! I never pictured this as my retirement life, after teaching high school for 40 years. I’m happy to help others with this, but two guys stole 2 decades from me, and now I’m old and 4’ 9”! I can’t even drive an Rv!
I would love to get my wife in the same room with the speakers in this video... how can I do that?
Thank you for sharing your stories .... it gives the ones that are still in a difficult place hope for recovery/remission.

Bottom line is CDC ruined my life. After 28 years I finally as of two weeks ago learned that I have lyme with 2 co-infections. Thanks to the CDC and the guidance on testing and their lies, they kept me ill purposely for 28 years. They all hold patents for lyme.
and what is solutions for that? some dr said long term atb treatment for years i do not believe it is safe options and combinations of atb
Find a “Lyme-literate” doctor or practitioner, asap! Start herbal treatments. I can tell you what I’m taking, if you’d like.
Look up Dr. Rawls on RUclips. His info is a great place to start with on the herbs. He's a doctor who healed his own chronic Lyme and has since helped many other people address theirs
@@YesPlease1 I agree with that as well. Nothing like the doctor having the issue so they know what you’re dealing with!
I was looking for a solution,but,,,,,
This sounds a bit anti antibiotics lol
Chronic lyme will break you in every way possible.
Absolutely!!!!
I got it 2 months ago, just curious how so. Everyone keeps saying their life is like ruined, but like how? I hope it doesn't happen to me
This is truth . Better have a huge amount of money put back since insurance doesn’t pay for Chronic Lyme .
CDC doesn't want i surance to pay. Watch “ under our skin”
True!! And the multi symptomatic problems is what you keep paying for!
Yes. It's infuriating going years having people act like they're better than you and you need to buck up.

What about balance problems?
Yes, Lyme is horrible. I have it and the pains are tearful 😢
I tested positive for Lyme and it’s been 6 years and Drs said i dont have it anymore but I have 24/7 every few seconds migratory joint/muscle pains .
I was recently diagnosed with this, I'm hoping that I called it early on and next week will be getting antibiotics. But yes, it's very strange for me as a very active person to feel like I have to sit down while I'm being active. It's just unusual and it's a terrible feeling.

After 18 months, i was finally given a tic PANEL not just lical tic tests. One round of antibiotics after an iv start, was like night and day. It comes back though uf its been a ling time, first thing is fatigue and depth oerceptoon, which started again about 5 days ago. So fatigued it took 5 days to try to get a same day with my ocp to start snother 3 weeks of antibiotics. What i get is that tgey are in a slime ( biofilm) and antibiotics get the lyme spuckets tgat have weak film, but like new flea eggs, the slime protects thee spickets, when they wear down, you fo another riund to get that generation. Thats my interpretation of the feel good for a few lonths, then get hit by a bus. I ended up with nuerolyme from a tic down south. Florida, that must have taken a ride back on vacationers or their dog and created a picket in my area in southern nh. That local ticks get tested for, so they kept coming back negative. I dislike antibiotics but this is a time im greatful. I was denied this protocol and the tic wasnt sent to state lab. I brought it in, and it got tossed in the trash! And denied antibiotucs when one dixycycline eould have prevented what came next.. dementia.. for months,, one round of antibiotics eleviated it 18 months later
Germ warfare. I know people that have DIED bc they were misdiagnosed & NOW drs are not even allowed to talk about Lyme. And Lyme is bad bad bad made by Russia
