@ we’re good to go and we’re fixing to take our jet skis on Jocassee in a bit. Hopefully Wright’s Creek or Laurel will have a bunch of icicles on the sides

[ never thought i would get a chance to work with something like this, so i am thankful to the ranch for letting me. We volunteer at this ranch, But they could have easily said , sorry cant let you work with this stuff. Im amazed everytime we mill a log into useable lumber for projects.

Hey there, I'm not sure how they made out. Some friends of ours have family in Hendersonville they said that most of the major issues were on north side of Hendersonville. I know alot of areas were under boil water orders for a few weeks. We are down in the Sapphire area. Hopefully you were able to get some information on Etowah. Sorry couldn't be more helpful

i believe she got it thru moss miata. Strictly for looks. It's decent quality. Car just needed something extra looks wise. Car doesn't get tracked, no autoX, just some spirited mountain driving where we live.

it is exactly a giant potato gun. The guys that were building these are engineers by day. In between sessions, you were able to go walk around the contestant field and check out some of the equipment. Alot of thought went into these things thats for sure. I have some other videos up close of them, its impressive for sure.

i never figured it out. I actually havent even listend for it in a long time. Ive become to realize these cars make some really strange noises for not particular reason at all

i like them alot. It was definitely worth doing the upgrade on them from stock. I also added the camber adjustment plates and the billet aluminum rear mounts. Apparently there isnt enough adjustment on the front especially after doing the lower springs. so the camber plates fix that scenario. On the rear, if I recall, there would be some modification required on the stock mounts to make the adjustables fit. But double check me on that, i could be misremembering. I had Steeda do the entire install and then alignment. I lived close to where the Florida facility was.

There is alot of it in this area of North Carolina. Just about every road you drive out here is. Tail Of Dragon is most well known, but there are some roads here that rival it. It is bliss thats for sure, just being able to go for a drive in the Mountains.

Its such a great place and change to the week going to the ranch and helping out there. Just being around these amazing animals is peaceful. The big ones are Percherons. They are huge. A touch shorter than a Clydesdale. They are gentle giants. The black one is the son of the white one directly behind him..

never actually figured it out, i used a mechanics stethoscope, sounded more like it was coming from the intake manifold, but i havent heard it in a while. will try to check this weekend if its still there, i only noticed it because i was checking something under the hood when car was running.

honestly, i didnt do this install myself, i took it to steeda and had them do it and set it up. wish I could help on that one

@@stephanorourke thanks for your reply, it’s crazy how there’s no videos or the fact that steeda provides instructions… I figured it out but for a first timer it would be very easy to get the top and bottom bearing confused since they look similar… it also sucks that they don’t provide what torque you need for the bolts.

glad you got it figured out. I had done the lowering springs myself about a year prior, which for some might not be a big deal, but I was overly cautious as I didnt want to launch a spring into my face when compressing.. The parts in this video, were not all of them. I also ordered the Stop The Hop Kit from Steeda, but had that sent to the shop and set up shop time. I could have gotten it all done in my garage, but I was going to have to have it aligned anyway, so figured just let them install and deal with the rest. Also had them do a some service work on the car as I was prepping it for its move to Western North Carolina. Glad you got it sorted out, wish I could have been more help and agreed on instruction set.

Luckily the only part that actually scrapes is the rubber part on the under tray. As long as the entry is slow none of the bumper actually touches the pavement.

very true, people should move over when available to do so, but most people dont. We had a guy thinking he was in the Pikes Peak hill climb so close to our bumper I could barely see the emblem on his hood. First "SAFE" oppurtunity, we moved over so he could tailgate the guy in front of us. I was waiting to see him slide over the side of the mountain and tumble down into a fireball. It's a fun drive, but I wouldn't classify it as the most challenging, just the most well known.

I had my 2004 Miataspeed on the Tail of the Dragon a few years back The motorcycles held me up all the time 😅

thank you, its her car and she picked it out , was just the means of the install. Next up is replacing this thin steeringwheel. Then a new exhaust and prbly lower it slightly to close up that unsightly wheel gap
