Can you do a circle box with slide
Any way you can make them without the rough edges and actually make it round?
Thank you for taking the time to make this video!
what was the point of using the ruler, a totally pointless extra move.
You used an Eric Sloane drawing from one of his books. You should cite that and give him credit. That’s plagiarism.
The stone walls scattered throughout NE weren’t built as fences. Yes, they served that purpose. But the stones were moved to get them out of the fields so they could be plowed. The stones could damage equipment and makes plowing harder.
Agree entirely. I wish academia could recognize age of forest around extensive stone walls is a symptom of zero trees just like Europe did
How the hell is this fascinating?
By far one of the BEST DESIGN presentation....Than You
Thank you. I have zero experience when it comes to 3D printing, I always told my son what I wanted, and he would print it. I needed a box for my oscilating blades. With your tutorial, I was able to design and print a functional box.
Wish I could hear it. Audio is whispers... looks interesting
what a great video and library service. You explained this perfectly and covered some pretty interesting beginner topic. Thanks for sharing. This was my first box !
First. David Hackett Fischer is one of my top 5 favorite historians. I read several of his books in graduate school and have followed him ever since.
I owned a house in New Hampshire and built my own rock wall that will be there for many years to come. 😊
Check out my New England stonewall build videos and subscribe! I’d appreciate it very much. Thank you!! ruclips.net/user/shortsNmkV2PW27Kc?si=hPUxZjCNz2dhNrek
Great to see making a mark in life.
An excellent book eloquently describing the many insurmountable problems confronting humanity as it continues to destroy the Biosphere. Unfortunately, he veers into the usual Leftist counter-factuals re: Donald Trump’s actual ability to govern a country, which was actually much better than the mess the clearly demented Joe Biden has created. Clearly, 1,000,000 new humans every 4.5 days, fished-out, plasticized oceans, deforestation and species loss of insects, birds, reptiles, amphibians, mammals, freshwater depletion, non-renewable resource depletion, continued reliance on transcontinental and trans-oceanic diesel transport by an over-consuming society, billions of cruelly-treated, sentient animals slaughtered yearly, moral decay, bio-engineering of nearly all life-forms with increased susceptibility to blight and devastation, AI’s most certain usage in military conflict as resources become scarce, and human nature itself, will spell our doom. The Seneca Effect will hold true.
fabulous video. Easy to follow directions and made my first design. Just need to print it now
I never did understand the ruler. Why did you bring up the ruler to size everything? I just dragged the box and set the dimensions. Cool Video. Thanks
The reason he brought up the ruler is because it keeps the measurements visible on the active model. I never use it either.
@@patrickbroadhead1982 OH! Thank you. The box did print beautifully.
Isn’t it the American state to call Britain England? In fact, as I understand it, the British Empire was run by Scottish men to large parts.
Wow, thank you! As a beginner I was able to follow you step by step with absolutely no confusion! Thank you sir.
zzzzzzzzz Jeez.
Very good video. My problem is how to print this, because Will need many supports
Why would it need any supports, just print it with the back panel onto the print plate.
So if i wanna make it bigger, do i change it to we say, 85 widith do i change the lid to 85 also? or should it be a little smaller?
Lidar, which stands for Light Detection and Ranging, is a remote sensing method that uses light in the form of a pulsed laser to measure ranges (variable distances) to the Earth.
For all you non-massachusetts dwellers, we put 2 T's at the end of the word so you know, it's not "massachusess"
I bet most people couldn't find it on a map much less spell it.
Great video!, is there a way to have it more rounded? or is that something you would sand down?
To make it more rounded, increase SEGMENTS and SIDES to their maximum values.
This is fantastic!! Great job teaching this complex material!
Stone wall jackson 😂😂😂
I am new to 3D printing and was looking for a project where I could become familiar with Tinkercad for designing custom objects. I found your video and it was just the thing I was looking for. I followed your video and ended up with a flawless sliding lid box and now feel much more comfortable with Tinkercad. Thank you for your wonderful video.
I bought book based on these you tube reviews. Novel is as dead as the author thinks Ireland is dead today. Here in Los Angeles area I went to catholic as a Mexican American but the teach were all from Ireland. We were very comfortable type of students, lots Irish and Mexican heritage. The Mexican heritage kids did not put up with shy nun, strict sister act. Of course this was in 60’s. Novel is badly written and boring. I’ve read plenty. After college my commute was 3 hours per day on rapid trans. I did lots short stories , euro novels, roddy Doyle stuff.? My experience with you tube reviews coming my way from UK, Australia, US is bad. With skippy Dies I’m not sure if I should throw it out now ( I’m on p 69) or another 10. I’ve got three musketeers to read. All these Dostoevsky stuff. I dont need to read book to learn Ireland is in the toilet. I’ve known that last 20 years. I live here in California. Lots of Irish all over.
Is there a way to put different areas of the icon at different levels so I can let's say print the bottom in white middle in black and top let's say in green so I could have a 3 colored printed coaster
Hmmm, there's no really easy way that I can think of. The simplest thing would be to just use holes in Tinkercad to 'shave a bit off the top' of certain areas. Tedious, and not really feasible if the SVG is detailed, but I can't think of another way. You could also just use acrylic paint or colored sharpies.
Very good 👍 but I'm an intermediate and I had to play this at 1.5 speed
Found an ad for this book in Harper's. Just bought it.
absolutely, what an awesome dude
Nice video. Learned a lot. Thank you.
ROB IS A HERO❤
Thank you MJ.
Excellent book that we just discovered . By "we" I mean a group of long time architect ski buddies who began a dialogue on existential threats to human civilization in 2019 and have revisited it several times. Our list is 20 factors, rank ordered by imminence/magnitude. There is great overlap, but your insights and research are very illuminating for us. As you have pointed out there is no political will/ societal pressure to address these basic and obvious issues. Than you for getting this published.
We find extremely odd walls in areas that were never used for agriculture at all. In one small area there are two rectangular enclosures created by massive rows with defining orientation all to magnetic north, south, east and west. They utilize various methods of building, are too low and heaped to act as wildlife containment, and have no entrances that would have allowed entrance for farming equipment and livestock. Is it possible that many of these stone rows be of a much older nature?
Yes they could be older, look into ceremonial stone landscapes.
PREFLOOD Noah time. There were GIANTS back in those days. ✝️⚔️🔥👑🕊️
@lorip.917 which giants? New York or San Francisco? Stop with your alternative myths and come back to reality.
The title of this video is insulting. People forget the Constitution. People forget that pefection does not exist. The 4th really is for all Americans. We don't have a color. We have a creed.
Very interesting and you have given me much food for thought. My thamks to you.and I'll buy your book Yours aye Don Ferguson
It’s OK to not propose solutions but no need to repeatedly state that you’re going to and then not do so.
You don’t need the ruler to enter dimensions. Just click on the white or black rectangles, when the body is selected, and double click the dimensions shown. You can change them now by typing.
That's true about not needing the ruler. But now that I see someone using it that way, it seems a little easier.
@@bradnelson3595how? using the ruler for this project is completely pointless, and actually confuses things.
Nice tutorial good job.
Great talk. Check out Yale grad, Kenturah Davis.
Very impressive talk @sachin. Once again, you continue to impress with your passion and your skills!
Thank You 🙏 Kaushik !!
