Philip and Nancy McKeon on TVs Bloopers and Practical Jokes February 13, 1984
Philip McKeon appeared on "Alice" from 1976 to 1985. Philip passed away in 2019 at the age of 55-years-old. On the old Bloopers and Practical Jokes with Ed McMahon and Dick Clark, it was Philip who surprised the show with how he reacted to his sister Nancy's practical joke. I saw this film once on TV in the 1960's when I was about 10-years-old and I think that I remember that Southern Politicians and Church leaders worked to get it banned for a bad portrayal of the Bible Belt. I remembered it when the Dozier Reform Scandal hit in 2012. I finally found it a few days ago in Russia.

This film was made by RKO, one of the big studios during the Golden Age of Hollywood. It tells the horrific life of juvenile delinquents in the Bible Belt, where slavery, torture, beatings and murder were the norm.
