Not yet really. While I am disappointed at his performance so far, it's still early and he still has a chance to extend his range. As well as him being slotted to the 4 as another potential.

@@juliogonzalez4764 Heat are widely respected for developing talent. Look at the fat contracts undrafted guys like Gabe Vincent, Max Strus and Caleb Martin signed after playing with us. I wouldn’t give up on Bam’s development but I agree with you. The new spread offense has Bam as it’s major casualty. And just as important is we are getting killed on the boards. If this continues Spo will be forced to make adjustments.

He has had about 4 years from 2022-current to be assertive and has yet to ever be assertive (or at least consistently, and dare I say soft at times)

@@yapyap3 I think we just need Bam to be himself. His efficient 20 and 10 is enough considering we have three other scorers in Terry, Herro, and Jimmy. We ran tons of pick and rolls with Bam last year. I think we need to get back to basics and everyone’s efficiency will improve.

Cronin and Ainge were never going to trade with Riley. Lillard ruined any chance by embarrassing Cronin and Ainge and Riley have beef. Aside from that, Bam is more valuable than Herro and Bam would be a terrible fit with Jimmy and Giannis, so a Bam for Giannis trade is actually more realistic than Herro for Lillard/Donovan.

No body wanted our players the last 2 offseasons. Why would anyone want them now?

@@juliogonzalez4764 In all due fairness I’m pretty sure Bam and Jimmy have been off limits. Teams wanted Herro but were only willing to give one first rounder and maybe a player. Duncan on the other hand is practically not trade able with the contract Riley erroneously gave him. Richardson is a journey man coming off an injury. Bryant is a throw in with little to no value. JJJ is probably our most marketable player after Jimmy and Bam.

@ very few players turn down the max contracts. So even in free agency sign and trades are the standard. Bucks will get a team to mortgage their future and there are no ring guarantees as good as he is. Further to my point how’s it working with the Bucks and Lillard? On paper the game might seem simple but it’s really not. Chemistry matters.

Lillard embarrassed Cronin and Cronin would be hated by Portland if he had traded Lillard to the Heat after he continuously demanded the Heat.

Would love to see a Heat lineup of Giannis, Wear,JJJ,Rozier and Herro.And if Spo can't coach this team he needs to be replaced.

So you don’t want to win with Jimmy. I just find it hard to swallow that when you get a player like Jimmy to bring your team deep in the playoffs and to the finals twice with undrafted and undersized guys year after year and you don’t give him any help knowing very well Jimmy is getting older. So you would rather ship Jimmy and draft and hope for the next Giannis rather than get Jimmy help when all Jimmy needs is a few more or in this case 1 more piece to get over the hump

@@00soysauce I think you misinterpreted my comment. What I’m saying is that we don’t have the assets aside from Jimmy and Bam to make the trade. So even if the Bucks accepted there is no point because our roster would be stripped. I’m very appreciative of Jimmy and I have not forgotten our recent successes. Many in Heat nation are ready to blow the team up after four games. I’m not ready to give up on this team and I agree with you. We are one impact player away. That said Jimmy is getting older and next year will command 50 M’s + So I understand some Heat fans who want assets. To me that is giving up on this season which is something I’m not willing to do and that’s also not Pat Riley’s MO. He wants to win every year.

@@1MrJwest I’m saying that our team ain’t good enough since we keep running it back. Only time we actually sort of had a revamped roster was the 21-22 season when we first got Lowry and Tucker and that season we were pretty good in the regular season and postseason going 53-29. That proved to me that this team isn’t a fluke and that this team has the capability of being a top 1-3 seed but for the past years, just keep underperforming, and we can’t keep relying on staying healthy because in the 21-22 season, Miami wasn’t healthy either so I don’t know what is going on with this team that they keep underperforming in the regular season causing us to trudge our way out the mud in the postseason with the hardest possible route to win. Ironically this 2024-2025 team is better than 2022 team on paper talent wise and player wise but don’t know why keep underperforming. I still want to win with Jimmy because I know he can take us there (2 more seasons at this level I think), but this team just disappoints me, but if Pat Riley and the front office haven’t made a big move and keep running it back, maybe they know something we don’t know and that this team is a team to win the championship

@ I hear you. This team has definitely been frustrating to watch during the regular season. And after that improbable Finals run against Denver I got the sense last year the regular season was diminished. This year judging from Spo and Riley’s comments I think there is a renewed emphasis on the regular season. Jimmy is also in a contract year and surely wants to get paid. In Riley’s defense he has tried to make moves albeit unsuccessfully. Perhaps we should keep our first rounders instead of trading them at the first opportunity. Anyhow, all this to say the Heat players should have urgency. With Giannis potentially being on the trading block, I don’t think they will run it back again next year. This is it.

The only package that makes sense for both teams is Bam for Giannis, assuming the Bucks would take a package centered around Bam.
