@@seanhall8289 left of the fairway bunkers is a nice safe spot i think i arsed it last time out, landing on the little strip haha good luck mate! idk what the greens are like at but i normally club up 1 because theres no bounce in the greens they just plug haha

A little wet to start but fine otherwise, good course but some tough holes when only 50m tee shots in left rough 11 and 12

@@seanhall8289 11 is gross short and left its so thick

some of the tee offs are tight or the bush is thick in parts not as open as capel, ive eagled number 4 and number 17. i played there the week of the southwest open, ive seen the greens looking better but it is winter i guess

@@seanhall8289 new clubhouse is super nice, ive been playing bgc for 20 years best course south of perth in my opnion

Yeah that's the LS 2022 model picked up under 300aud new from clearance sale. If I could hit straighter I'd really love it more

@BeststuffMEDIA yeah 4 courses were in amazing condition and 1 was elite (pineapple Valley) the other 2 were more than respectable. Shame about black mountain fairways being dry and all their water hazards nearly empty looked bad so didn't film their but it's top 2 when in tournament condition

Imperial lake I watched all the way thru that looked really nice, looks like a epic place to go and not real busy?

Cheers, Pineapple Valley GC I played today was pristine condition and palm hills was close 2nd, got 3 more rounds in next 3 days if body can hold up

It's been a very hot summer here, but most courses still in good condition except a couple that don't have good irrigation. We are lucky with mild winters down here all courses are lush and not too soft. Cheers

Yeah, not sure on Ogilvy, that ball went between to players in group about 3m apart from each other. Don't wanna see anyone hurt but could've hit bag or something to stop it going another 50 backwards

@@seanhall8289 haha yes a back stop of some sort would have been nice. Just googled, It was Brett Ogle in the 1990 Australian open R4 17th hole, demolished his kneecap.

Not sure but they started clearing 2nd 9 probably 2yr before completed, I never got a chance to play when they had 18holes but was told real good in its prime

@@seanhall8289 yeah back in 2010-ish it was easy one of the top 10 if not top 5 rated courses in WA. Poor old binningup has been abandoned as well, unfortunately, that was a really fun 9 hole course not to far from Bunbury.

@@seanhall8289 meadow springs is a tough course! I played there with my dad in 2013, I think the last golf trip we had together, I played so bad I vowed to never play there again 😂

Oh yes, that was hung up above bunker side hill lie 1 foot in bunker then fell in bunker after shot

Nice course, but for my length off tee still feels long with those lush soft fairways
