The idea is great. I honestly don‘t know how people manage to hurt eachother at the building site. I was working with hydraulic torques for years. Never saw or heared of somebody get insured by „Operator“. The Operator in Europe at least is in your near not on a standpoint where he can‘t see or hear you. Great product tho nevertheless

God bless the inventor. I've seen him on Shark Tank, truly a hero. No greed whatsoever! He literally wants to save lives.
I watched a whole episode of shark tank followed by a 6 min video, to finally be explained how it works. This should be explained in 30sec not in 6 min
My question is why do you have to HOLD the lever to DEACTIVATE the tool...and then RELEASE the lever to ACTIVATE the torque....that makes zero sense.....change the valve around so it works like every other power tool in the world....pull the trigger, make it go.....duh

Cat Funt well if you were to ever use power tools you would know letting go of the lever again would stop the tool instead of just crushing your hand to a bloody paste without being able to stop it. On top of the fact that you could just add a safety so you couldn’t accidentally press the lever. Dudes definitely right reverse the valve
@@Steelcrafted the lever is the thing that you are holding to position the tool, you let go of the lever, the tool is going to drop. It is designed to be held, you don't hold the other parts of the tool, you hold the part with the lever
@@catfunt5583 exactly....so what sense does it make that you let go of the tool and it turns on....the most logical way this safety mechanism should work is that it requires BOTH HANDS to be actuating two triggers, which means if your hands are on the triggers, they can't be under the pinch points....
The working of the handle makes no sense. The operator is only safe if he has the handle pushed in and not when he hasn't. It should be the other way around like a dead man's swtich. Action should only occur if the operator is actually operating the handle. In your scenario it's not certain if the handle isn't pressed down because the operator is ready or because he has forgotten to push it.
I thought the same thing, it should force the operator to use BOTH hands to press the handle so that both hands are away from the danger areas of the wrenches.
I agree, but, these things are not meant to be held to operate them, it's just a set and forget (until it finishes the job), which is why the handle works this way. It would be a hassle to need to be holding the handle for it to operate, specially in awkward or hard to reach positions.

You have idiots who do work all the time.
You have to push the butt against another bolt to ground it. When moving it around it's impossible to be safe at all times. I had a buddy who lost half his hand on a hydraulic lift that just broke, the pump failed and it just snapped back in place. Anything can happen.
The Hytorc washer is certainly not the answer.manafacturers do not make products with back up washers so how do you undo these bolts? A reaction arm tool ! , what happens when the bolt is tight still and there is no pressure holding down the backup washer? The washer spins and the bolt will not undo. Then you get your reaction arm tool to undo it.Back up washers have to be purchased, special sockets have to be purchased and are all very expensive and not the answerThe reaction arm tool is the all round work horse of every tool kit and now been made safe to use
I don't think you understand how bolting works. What you wrote doesn't make any sense.
