This is totally cool -- Lucy Terry fought for her rights as a freed slave to own land in Vermont, which was the first state to outlaw slavery in its state charter.

When I arrived in Brattleboro in 90 I immediately fell in love with the great scenery, the old-time feel it has. I stayed for 11 years and left pretty sick of the local society. It's a very nice place to visit, however.
This is such a clever and touching tribute to my town!
