Could’t agree with more! David and I (47 yrs) left the USA 13 yrs ago and took the plunge and moved to South America. We sold our beloved home , had our furniture etc shipped to us and never regretted one single minute of taking a risk to enjoy the rest of our lives to the fullest . For the past 13 yrs we have been living the dream….congrats to you both !

I am so happy that I stumbled upon this! My first love (we were 15 and 16) came out to me a year after we stopped dating. He was so nervous and shaking and I was actually relieved that it wasn’t for another girl lol. This was the early 80s. He used to go to PTown every year.Now I finally got to SEE what Provincetown looks like and can see why he loved it there. Oh and seeing the Tea Dance brought so many great memories back as I used to with him to Tea Dances in Greenwich Village. You two are a stunning looking couple. Enjoy the rest of your summer 😎

Wow…in danbury, conn., I worked a co op job through Northeastern, at Fairfield Hills State Hospital, in Newtown…the next town. You folks should see the hospital because it is in the the national register. Good video.

I can't believe how much I enjoy the two of you and how wonderful your blog is.

I've had some good experiences with AirBnb but if I have the opportunity to book directly I always choose that. I have also now noticed what feels like a bait and switch on their platform where the advertised fee is not even close to what it costs once the cleaning fees are added in. I have no doubt that some guests are slobs and deserve a higher cleaning charge. I don't live that way and I don't travel that way and if I have to spend a half day before I leave doing the job of a cleaning service (stripping the beds, taking out the trash, and more) I'll just stay at a hotel.

genius !! way back in the 90's when i was a regular there were 3 amazing Men who owned a Guesthouse i loved them so much, i stayed there every summer...... they were like my three Daddies younger Gay men will be encouraged by your drive BRAVO

I totally agree with the "life is short" mentality. I've worked in corporate finance in Boston for 22 years and at age 47 am feeling burnt out AF. I work 100% from home which makes it more manageable, but I'm still mentally stressed. I bought a condo in Provincetown 7 years ago and it was the best decision I ever made. I've been short term renting in West Palm Beach, FL for the winters. I plan to retire at 50 from corporate america permanently and buy a winter home in West Palm and snowbird between there and Ptown.

Funny, isn't it, that items never scan UNDER the priced value?? So, gotta wonder if it's truly an "accident" or "innocent error." BTW my supermarket, here in MA, used to offer price protection. If the item scanned over the priced value, you got it free. So I started paying attn, and never every moderate sized cart, I would always get one or two items free. Eventually, they dropped the offer. SMH PS adding Elvis won my like lolol

I am a gay man who grew up in NYC in the 70s. I really hoped that the disco, tea dance, glamping, drag queen, house queen thing would die out but like a vampire from the grave it will not let go. The old queens won't let go of the narrative and young gay men are still 'taught' that hooking up and Broadway musicals and female icons are the only way to be 'gay'. Fortunately a big subculture of young masculine gay men have rejected this and live in the real world. I'm happy for these guys and for anyone who finds love but my God they are vapid.
