I have found in previous seasons that the international breaks are not a good time to try and make money, unfortunately ... I like Rogers and Gvardiol, Foden could be a very nice differntial if he plays ... but he may ne a risk as his minutes may be low. That said, we are only on GW 8 and so it is early enough to take gambles IMO. Mykolenko has not yet been involved in a clean sheet, I would probably prefer Ait-Nouri, but if you already have him then Mykolenko could be as good as anyone for that price. As for booking in transfers ... it's a risky game as other players may force you to take hits, so I guess this is up to your risk appetite. I do like TAA and Johnson, so I'd say get them, and then decide in a couple of weeks if you want to make the move for Salah. " Cunha Haaland and mbuemo palmer salah foden looks good mid + forw in 3 weeks?" <- If Foden gets the minutes, then this does look very nice 😎 Good luck for GW 8

The list of keepers (and all players) was initially based on who was popular at the start of the season, when someone new becomes very popular then they go in the system. Onana is only the 13th most owned keeper, but I do quite like him, so happy to add him if you like :)

Scratch that apparently he was in training today even though last week all United fan channels were reporting he had a heart operation. So sorry if he's ok but you never know anymore 🙄

@@MidnightMuleFPL Thanks, and thanks for replying also. My early strategy this season was to go against Haaland and use the money throughout team. I also went very heavy on Arsenal and Liverpool: (Trent, Diaz, Salah, Gabriel, Saka, Havertz). I used my Free Hit in GW2 to catch Haaland hat-trick against Ipswich and i will be buying Haaland for the next 4-5 weeks now City have better fixtures. I do use analytics a bit but I don’t usually choose players based on what AI thinks they will get. Last season was my first year playing FPL and I was quite influenced by creators, but this season I am less influenced by them. I’ll try and remember to drop a message on your end of season video.

@Dennis_Reynolds I agree that avoiding content creators should help you. There is a strong FPL echo-chamber online where they seem to affect each other. I had another poor FPL week, but my team is in transition, so I just need to accept that it could be a few more weeks before it is template (which is my experiments 😀 ). There is a reasonable chance that I'll be taking hits again this coming gameweek ... I need to check a few things first ...

@Lucifer.Vulgate I do like Cunha and his fixtures are very nice apart from GW8. However, Vardy is more popular and I am focusing this series on the popular players. That said, if they were both owned by the same number of managers, then I would rate Cunha higher than Vardy. 😀

@bhaveshatwal8142 well, not in the lineup tonight. I think that he is basically fit, but they can probably beat BHA at the weekend without him, so maybe they'll be looking to give him a long rest? He may fall in price before the weekend ... if you have someone coming off the bench who is okay, then it may be worth keeping him ... but he is expensive and there are cheaper midfielders who could realistically do better in the next few weeks. I think that if I had him, I'd be fine to swap him for any one of Palmer, Saka, Mbeumo, Rogers ...

@FPL-Tony if Bruno does nothing in the next few weeks then I'll stand corrected. McNeil is not high enough owned to be a threat to people's rank. Bruno was highly owned earlier in the season and is still being reported on as some people may still have him. There are a couple of hundred players who play each week, but it is only the higher-owned ones that we need to consider ... McNeil is an excellent choice, but he is currently no threat, I suspect he will get added soon if he keeps doing well ... 😉

I will try to remember to include him if you like. He is low owned, which means if someone doesn't own him and he gets 15 points then it really doesn't matter. However, I am fine to include him, and he us BRE's most owned defender, let's see how he does 😎

@sundersquare if you are WC6 then I think it is okay to sell Saka, if you are not WC6 then I'd say you have to keep Saka ...

Ooo .. interesting ... Man City players are a risk, but that move is kinda -4. If you have cover on the bench, then I don't think that I would make that move, but I understand why you would want to ... Walker is dropping in value and there is a small chance Konate will rise. If you are WC6 and have any other defender to cover then I think that I would save the transfer ....

@alexandermcbrien264 I think that i agree with all of this. I made the video before the ARS CL game, so we only has the North London Derby to go on, and there was no Rice so there was possibly more uncertainty as to the formation going forward. Havertz will plget some returns, but there are plenty of other forwards that will probably do just as well or better for less money. Thank you for your comments, they are appreciated 😀

the websites show player value (if bought now) + cash, but if we sold all our players then we do have much less. It doesn't really matter which metric I used, but I thought that the one I was showing was the most common, hence using that ... thanks for the comment, and well done on the extra 45 points ... 😎

@@MidnightMuleFPL Actually it's 53 extra, since I did not count your -8 yet for this GW. It's easier to use that metric that is easier to understand. Looked at other comments as well and if you used other metric the team value difference would be the same compared to me. I would have then 0,2 value. Did not include Haaland and Salah there though, since it's very unlikely that i would sell them.

I think he used his WC already, so next one is coming next year. But with banking 5 FT you can get half WC in 5 weeks. So best would be to build his value team into regular team step by step.

you may be right, I am hoping to find out this season whether or not it was a viable idea. I just checked, if I sell all my players and buy 15 different players, then I have 100.7 at the moment ...

@@MidnightMuleFPL Did you count those players as well who you probably wouldn't sell at all, maybe if they are injured long term only. Someone has to experiment and find things out too. It's interesting to see how your experiment goes. 👍
